Be nice to see all the non believers throw Manly a well done today! Same old Uni - no plan B. Match them upfront they have no other game plan. The root of the TAHS previous problems. Manly's movement killed them. Proud of our boys, Ed Gower back this week. Oh and HJ didn't see any missed tackles...
Crikey there are some anti Marlin members on G & G.
I though the breakdown was officiated poorly and Manly had just as much to argue with some decisions.
Understand the side has a good case of the hiccups in next weeks fixture but I think the side is more relaxed and have a quality 9/10...
Out of all the young stars on show Hodge was the standout. Didn't see him or Lane miss a tackle either :p. Randwick will be a tougher proposition this week though.
I've watched every Manly game this year and despite my bias I disagree. Sam is an excellent slide defender and front on. He's been carrying a significant knee injury all year and I think this is the basis of his positional play at lineout and defensive situations.
After Saturday's one sided finale a young gentlemen, a GPS alumni with numerous friends at Syd Uni made the following statement on Facebook:
"Sydney Uni are ruining Australian Club rugby."
His post received over 50 likes but what was more interesting were some of the University players...
I agree with Dave.
These comments are detracting from a terrific game of club rugby that should have received more press about its case of being "3rd tier" standard.
