    End of Year Tour 2012

Indeed Hugh indeed! I was warming up the pipes to play a lament for the Wallabies but bugger me they go and beat the Poms! As a 12 year resident of Pomgolia that makes me feel very very happy, and I will be sure to wear the colours when I go to buy the Times tomorrow morning. :D

    New Zealand vs Ireland

Dont they always Moono? Its not as if its our national game or anything.... Hey Tah rugby on the radio is great! If the commentators are good at it, you can really get into it. Its how I have to enjoy many of the games..

Wallabies vs Wales, Sunday Dec 4

http://www.skepdic.com/osteopathy.html Its woo, but like any form of "laying on of hands" it can make you feel better. I'll be watching the game on the BBC and I think the Welsh have a strong chance of turning us over - they are much stronger at home, they just need the mental edge and...

    RWC QF2: England v France (W Pool B v RU Pool A)

A few more hours of just living it up at the Poms expense until we face the Boks. Yeah, life is good.....

England vs Argentina - Live chat.

There is s difference this time though Daz - this was the first choice England team, against a team way short of the class of 2007 by Argentinian standards. Who had very little time together, and 2 very poor warm-up games. And who suffered crucial injuries before the RWC and during the first...

England vs Argentina - Live chat.

WEll I can safely say if the Wallabies play even close to what they did in Brisbane, we'll slaughter the bastards. England seemed to brely have a clue what to do with a rugby ball - and FFS they were playing a team thats only been introduced to each other a couple of weeks ago, and with only 2...

Scrap RWC Third vs Fourth in favour of a SH vs NH Game

They had such a thing for charity a few years ago and it was a great Barbarians type game.

    The wheels are falling off

Indeed Groucho, no worries yet but lose this weekend and they look remarkably human. And The Fear may start, that it will be another 4 years. Some of the fans posting on here were not even born when the ABs last won the Cup. They have been under absolutely no pressure as yet. Its all a lark in...

Tri Nations Game 5 - Springboks vs All Blacks

From the first time I saw Weepu a few years ago I thought "that blokes a natural" and could never understand why he didn't play more often for the ABs. Backup 10? Could be his job. And they need a decent backup - remeber what happened 4 years ago?

    Al Baxter retires

I wish him all the best, he gave me one of the finest Wallaby moments destroying the English scrum in 2008, made even more sweet by the fact I was watching the game with a one-eyed English ex-front rower in a living room in Purley and I thought I was going to have to call an ambulance and brush...

Thoughts on the Wallabies 2010 Tri Nations performance.

Maybe I have a different view of the Wallabies having lived in England since 2000. At home I saw thier best, at a distance, some of the worst. If you follow it from here the Tri Nations seems a little odd as a competition..eg when England defeated us in Perth it was an immeadiate sign for the...

Thoughts on the Wallabies 2010 Tri Nations performance.

Every time we played the All Blacks it was predicted that "it would get ugly" and they would beat us by 40 points. This didn't really happen, and all the wild crowing from over the Tasman is about a 1 point win. Yep that close. Yep - we lost true enough, but I have never bought this constant...

Thoughts on the Wallabies 2010 Tri Nations performance.

A bit controversially, I think I will wait to say if we have really improved until we see how the Wallabies go against the NH teams up here (I live in the UK). I'd like to think the Wallas will give each of the teams they play a damn good hiding, and I think its a strong possibility. For some...

Wallabies V Boks Loftus Versfeld Pretoria 28/08/2010

Totally dissapointed with that. Even a clean sweep in Europe won't erase this feeling that really we shouldn't be competing at this level. We are a 6N level team now I'm afraid. The quality is not there from the coaching or the players.
