    Round 6: Reds v Brumbies

Good reward for last week after Frost and Hooper have been underwhelming.

    Round 6: Reds v Brumbies

Impressed with Cale's physicality vs Moana. Thought he'd get bullied but was very effective. Uses his speed and agility well to get between defenders. Big fan of Brown as well, very reliable.

    Round 6: Reds v Brumbies

Well this just got spicy. Brums running into some form and the Reds hitting a banana skin...

Round 5: Brumbies v Moana Pasifika. Fri 7.35PM AEDT @ GIO Stadium

You didn't watch last week? He is nearly Australia's most consistent player. You would need the world's strongest maroon coloured glasses to suggest Wilson is even close to being in front of him. The question of whether or not/how they could possibly fit together is interesting though.

Round 4: Highlanders v Brumbies. Sat 2.35PM AEDT @ Forsyth Barr, Dunedin

You've watched a different game to me with respect to Neville and Hooper who looked pretty solid to me. Couple of key turnovers to Hooper and good contact work from both. Lineout issues are largely on the hookers at the moment, along with Frost for mucking up his delivery to 9 at one point (he...

Round 4: Highlanders v Brumbies. Sat 2.35PM AEDT @ Forsyth Barr, Dunedin

The miss on Harmon was poor but otherwise a massive shift (again) from Valetini. Just keeps turning up and getting us over the gainline. Signs of the defence improving too, though the Highlanders didn't throw a lot at us. Ikitau and Schoup didn't look great, not a lot of depth midfield either

Round 3: Reds vs Chiefs, 6:45pm AEST - Saturday 9th of March @ Suncorp

First time I've been able to cheer for Qld for a while. Last couple have seasons its been impossible to deal with the chips on the players' shoulders and the delusion of their fan base. They're actually starting to live up to the hype though which is awesome for Aus rugby. Superb effort to...

Round 3 Brumbies v Force Canberra 9 March

The brumbies don't give him the ball. As to falling off tackles I reckon that's a system issue, they look all over the shop compared to previous years. New assistants taking time to settle. The crap attack has to fall squarely on Larkham though...

Round 3 Brumbies v Force Canberra 9 March

Hooper looked very sore after staying down for treatment on his knee in the first half vs Chiefs. Very ineffective in contact after that, surprised he's fit. Good to see Tua back at 12 as a bigger body, Sapsford hasn't set the world on fire.

    Round 2: Chiefs v Brumbies - 3 March 2024

Brums look flustered across the board. Halftime hopefully gives them a chance to compose themselves. Flying at DMac doesn't seem to be working, probably need to give that a spell and go back to holding their line and making the chiefs work harder to find space. Need to shelve the cutouts in...

Super Rugby: Round 1. Rebels vs Brumbies - 23 Feb AAMI

Big concern for the rebs was their utter lack of penetration in attack, leading to panicked turnovers. Their attack last year, with a less talented lineup, looked sharp which was attributed to Sampson. I hope he hasn't had to take a back seat with Foote excited at the big bodies at his disposal...

Super Rugby: Round 1. Rebels vs Brumbies - 23 Feb AAMI

Best thing for Brums was they didn't really get out of 2nd or 3rd gear. Nice to build on but will need to be much better against the Kiwis. Understand not wanting to show our hand early but would it kill them to get Ikitau some early ball?

    Wallabies 2024

Have to disagree with that. Gordon appeared to have almost no autonomy, any ball he got he just dutifully shovelled to Kerevi or occassionaly someone else to truck up. We never presented him with multiple running options and rarely even played out the back. Watch the Rebels attack from earlier...

    Wallabies 2024

He was fit to play vs Georgia. It wasn't a matter of Eddie not wanting to risk him, he genuinely thought he wasn't deserving of a place in the squad. Anyone defending Jones, as Doran has laughably done on the roar today, needs to have a think about this.

Would have been the best suited to the limited gameplan too

    RWC Pool C - Australia v Wales - 5AM 25 Sep AEST

I agree about firing up the backline attack but I wouldn't get my hopes up. Eddie has come in with a pre-conceived notion that our players are too dumb to play with any detail, said openly that he's sick of us copying NZ teams, and decided that the best way forward is to instead 're-establish...

    RWC: Pool C - Wallabies v Fiji - Monday 18 Sep 2am AEST

Glad also that Ikitau is fit and ready to get on the piss with the Brumbies boys in Japan while we're carrying multiple injured players and Petaia is repeatedly kicking the ball away in the attacking 22

    RWC: Pool C - Wallabies v Fiji - Monday 18 Sep 2am AEST

Hope Gordon can shrug it off and this WC doesn't ruin him long term. Being asked to play an unnatural gameplan that doesn't suit his natural strengths then being dragged when it doesn't work. Ironically that left us chasing points with poor old Donaldson in the hot seat, who is less suited to...

    RWC: Pool C - Wallabies v Fiji - Monday 18 Sep 2am AEST

Hopefully we see a change in tactics missing 2 of our key power players. Fiji will really fancy themselves.
