The idea put on the table at nswru was to have U18s in addition to all three colts.... a rushed decision came out to replace 3rd grade.. this was never the intention when put forward so hopefully commonsense will prevail and nswru will "amend" the decision
There are alot of boys happy to play village rugby with mates but enjoy the rep program as a separate thing... Not all players are in it for them selves.. I know of Many boys that played in Club comp and got thrashed each week and rep coaches kept telling them that they should swap clubs so...
The comp manager put a direction to all host clubs to allow all games to go ahead and issues would be sorted out post match. that may be why people thought it was cleared. ..
I can't agree with the argument about A grade being district. . What about the kid that plays with his Mates on the weekend but enjoys the challenge of playing state champs. .. why should we let the over zealous ruin it for the rest of us. .. there are alot of nasties in this sport but...

You still have to have 12 players otherwise it is still a forfeit. . I liked the old rule as well but problem was that teams wouldn't bother playing if they are near top and didn't want to risk injury. .. doesn't matter what rule you have. . Some over zealous coach will ruin the reasoning
They r in the middle of looking and slightly changing constitution. . All districts r being consulted!!! All clubs get sent to agm notice and agenda. . Cant blame sjru if it not passed on..
