Yes from the reds email:
This will be Phase 1 of a 3 Phase ticketing release. There are only a limited amount of tickets in certain stadium sections being released in Phase 1, so you will still have a chance to secure tickets in Phase 2 and Phase 3 later this year.
Only saw about 4 penalties at Brothers lower grade game Vs Uni. Players and the ref appeared to do a pretty good job. It will take some time ad we all get use to the lower tackle height. Mind you there were some big hits.
Fin Prass has a wonderful boot but I suspect he need to work on his game management and basic skills. Like a lot of these U19 boys. (mightn't hurt for a few older boys to do the same.)
Connor Simpson is with Brothers as well I believe. Yes being a NC boys certainly helps with the current coach. It will be interesting as Brothers won Colts 4, 3 and 2 so there will be competition for positions and some boys may be disappointed with the team the start in
Really tough game to pick the winner. Easts have finished with a wet sail while Brothers have off a bit. Brothers had a good win against Bond and then lost by a point against Uni. I think this loss will be the catalyst for a Brothers win. The team was close to full strength and they were beaten...
Any one of these could win all have proved themselves up to the task on any given day. UQ vs Brothers will be a cracker and I think the Brothers lapse during the tail end of the season will only spur them on. Brothers by 7
Easts to win against Wests in a tight one. I think Easts could be the...
Good win by Easts on the weekend. Their 7 must be counting his lucky stars after only getting a Yellow card on the weekend. Could have been the end of his season otherwise. Brothers started with an intercept but were never allowed in the game. Easts did what all Easts teams do well - win the...
Can see the Butcher Strips will be worried about this game. Another loss will not do their confidence any good. There are a number of boys coming back from injury but I don't think they are ready just yet
Can I ask the question - why focus on next year. What is wrong with playing our best available now. I see it in junior Rugby selections Both schools and club. That player was picked because he will be good next year - not this year.
Other little bugbear is we pick players out of position. Again...
