RWC 2019 1/4 Final New Zealand vs Ireland

"The All Blacks appeared to have all the answers even before the Irish knew what the questions were." Brilliant!

RWC 2019 1/4 Final New Zealand vs Ireland

Taylor as the starter is the right call. He'll take the hard punishment early on then bring the quicker slippery coles on as fresh legs. Brodie will be interesting and while lacking gameplay, he has the biggest engine in WR (World Rugby). Scott B is more than an adequate replacement when needed. SBW off...

RWC Pool B: All Blacks vs Springbokke, Sat 21st September, 18h45 , International Stadium Yokohama

If the AB's happen to win this cup and Savea goes on uninjured, he could well be MOTT. He is truely outstanding and a pleasure to watch.

RWC Pool B: All Blacks vs Springbokke, Sat 21st September, 18h45 , International Stadium Yokohama

Well done AB's and with few penalties! That's a damn good start and Shag will be very happy with the discipline and no injuries. So far the ones who need the most improvement is the officiating across all the games we've seen.

RWC Pool D: Wallabies v Fiji, Sat 21st September, 2.45pm AEST, Sapporo Dome

The above still of Hodge using the right arm in the tackle is plain wrong. The frame used shows the maximum that arm got in terms of a wrap-around and the arm only got that far due to the impact. I reckon Hodge knew he had to slam him or be bulldozed, again. It saved a try sure, but it was an...

    Bledisloe II @ Eden Park

WC? anything can happen. Japan knocked off SA. Nobody saw that coming. England gone end of pool play to Wales, ouch! Australia ended up in the final against the AB's after a patchy period with Cheika at the helm for only a year. I for one rate Australia stepping up again this year!

    Bledisloe II @ Eden Park

From Hansen: Just so it’s not all doom and gloom for Australia, there was a strong vote of confidence from an unlikely source. All Blacks coach Steve Hansen said he wanted Australia to win the World Cup … if New Zealand doesn’t. “It’s a lot better than it was last week. The lesson you’ve...

    Bledisloe II @ Eden Park

When you have the halfback (TJP) contest the tackle breakdown and win twice is a worry.

    Bledisloe II @ Eden Park

Arnold was a monster in Perth and was sorely missed last night.

    Bledisloe II @ Eden Park

Perth was an enigma of sorts and I called it several pages back that the AB's would be a different animal this week and the best thing that happened for the AB's was that loss. They always come back hard, tough and ruthless. 36-0 is as dominant as you get. Had they retained 15 on the park in...

    Bledisloe II @ Eden Park

I gave 3 important points as to why I think its a flawed punishment. The example of a player mistake costing a try is 'apples and oranges' opposed to 14 Vs 15 for half the game.

    Bledisloe II @ Eden Park

Indeed my error. 41 minutes is accurate, sorry for the mistake. Still, 41 minutes playing 14 Men is a huge advantage albeit the right call to red card. I'm sure this has been discussed here somewhere but that rule must change. It's plain stupid. Bin the Man for the game and subsequent...

    Bledisloe II @ Eden Park

The AB's will be a very different animal to last week. 1: Discipline will be far better. 2: They'll have 15 men on the park! (personally, a win against the AB's who had 14 men for 46 mins feels somewhat hollow) 3: The loose 3 combo of Reid, Savea, Cane experiment will prosper having the full...

Fair enough. Calling it as I see it. Will refrain from speculative views concerning inappropriate comments. Apologise.

    Argentina v Australia, Mendoza 4/10/14

The argies controlled the game, and credit due when they were 14 down, and that 14 came off Argie mistakes... Wobs have only themselves to blame not Owens. Bad discipline, bad decision making and Folou has been making far too many bad decisions, world class? I don't think so. Great to see...

    New Zealand v Australia - Auckland - 23 August 2014

Ya think?... Some may of bought the hype pre Bled2, mostly coming from jerno's and the Wobs themselves, but the majority of NZ'ers knew the AB's would come back ruthless, why? because the AB's themselves were angry with their lackluster performance Bled1 and that is what a champion side does...

    New Zealand v Australia - Auckland - 23 August 2014

True enough, disasterous choke, but then again that Aussie skipper had the help of Sir Russell Coutts, kiwi, who began his hugely successful America’s Cup career with Team New Zealand 22 years ago, was the CEO of defender Oracle Team USA with eight Kiwis onboard as crew. Just goes to show Kiwis...

    New Zealand v Australia - Auckland - 23 August 2014

Super comp and Test level are two very different animals... Izzy is the only player that "could" make the AB side but still well behind Ben Smith in over all ability. Personally I don't see the "cattle" at test level.
