Such a good point. Not many people realise that aside from having better coffee and art galleries than Melbourne we also have better street culture. It makes perfect sense.
waiting for Slim to take the bait.
I think the Force have shown the Reds to be the pretenders that they are whilst Brumbies class is coming to the fore. You really have to admire them for their ability to command the Australian rugby landscape and develop players into Wallabies. Massive respect from this QLD poster.

At risk of derailing this thread, it is so disappointing that there won’t be a size increase to the Gabba. Barring total societal collapse this decision will seem foolish in 2032 when most of Australia lives in Brisbane. A good public transport solution and an extra 2m people absolutely...
In the early stages of that match he stated “You’d have to say that England are ahead on points right now”. It was 3-0 to England at the time. Don’t believe he was being ironic.
Surprised at the lack of discussion on this forum after the ultimate deciding games were so competitive.
The comp may never have been this competitive, even with Wales losing all of their games, three of those were by 3 points or less.
Ireland very deserving winners and the best team but I...
I quite enjoyed 2012 and 2013, though obviously would have loved to have won. We played some insane rugby those years, especially against NZ and RSA teams. I have no recollection of 2014 and will never.
It feels very 2010 to me.
By which I mean we will definitely win the title next year by beating the Saders in Brisbane and we will see some of the best rugby ever played along the way. Guaranteed.
She has also been an Australian cricketer (as in being selected for the top national team) for the majority of her life. Literally, has spent more time whilst alive in our best XI than not.
She has indeed but has hardly bowled for Aus in recent years due to injury. I think this last season was when she started increasing overs again for Aus but with half the team being all rounders she’s not needed for her bowling much anymore and she’s not bowling nearly as much as she was early door.
I agree there was no follow up. Ultimately though the lack of answers basically define the interview. They are not journalists but he is the CEO and he’s not given the punters a scrap which is his missed opportunity. Disappointing because I think Phil has made some positive moves in his tenure...
Really, really good questions put forward by Drew especially as well as 'The Professor'. I don't think Phil would have expected how difficult a conversation this undoubtedly was. Not exactly satisfactory answers, especially around trust and transparency.
I don’t know if these NZ cricketers are just so chill that you can’t see the disappointment that they do feel but the way they talk after these matches is so damp.
Let’s be frank - Southee was terrible this series. He wouldn’t have knocked the nails off with his bowling, the plans were so dozy...
Southee has given himself the ball around every session change and new ball. He’s got an opportunity here to vindicate himself and cap off 100 tests with a fantastic win however I can’t help but feel that this has been a mistake in his captaincy.
