I read this comment on a story in the NZ Herald and I wondered how Aussies would take to this:
While I am totally loving the NZ dominance over the Wallabies for the last 10 years, I have to agree that 'strong Australian rugby is better for everyone'
Couldn't find any thread about this so hopefully not doubling up.
I'd take Messam over Thompson every day of the week when it's the black jersey - this was taken from stuff.co.nz
Guildford, Messam may miss All Blacks squad
TOBY ROBSON
Some simple maths might be bad news for Liam Messam and...
....and coaches lose them. Still a proud Blues fan and I'm proud of the dignity and humility Lam and Mealamu have shown in a shitty year. I hope Lam stays on as an assistant coach with the team.
I'm interested to know what the big difference is between the Currie Cup teams and the Super Rugby teams?
Why do the Lions win the CC but can hardly win a game in Super Rugby?
As a die-hard supporter and believer of the Blues and of Pat Lam, it's been a bloody Super rugby season thus far. After Thursday night I was so despondent about my team and couldn't understand what the hell Lam was doing.

He may need to start directing his energies a little closer to home. This is disgusting.
I don't know if a lot of other coaches have something like this but Pat seems very open and genuine and I like the direction he seems to be taking the Blues.
With all the talk of the Tahs and Reds line-ups for 2011, the Blues line-up for their Chiefs pre-season game caught my eye:
1. Tony Woodcock
2. Keven Mealamu
3. John Afoa
4. Anthony Boric
5. Ali Williams
6. Jerome Kaino
7. Daniel Braid
8. Chris Lowrey
9. Alby Mathewson
10. Luke...
