Louis Werchon has spent a lot of time on the pine for Wests & Reds since leaving Brothers maybe he could also return to Crosby with all that experience as a bench warmer!!
I know I have mentioned this before but it really irritates me - the Brothers bloke who wears the “medic” bib - poor young Charlie Brosnan laying seriously injured on the field and he’s in the Brothers huddle screaming instructions. He didn’t even help carry Charlie off the field. Mate are you...
Alex was a Queensland School boys #15 before switching to #7 I think whilst playing Colts at Wests.
His career has been hampered by injuries but if he could get a good pre-season at the Brumbies and play a full season of club rugby in Canberra I recon you’ll see him in Super rugby in 12 months -...
Are you talking about the right Smit brother?
Alex probably has more natural ability than Matt, but Matt is a premiership player - he played well that year after switching from the Bulldogs.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see Alex do well at the Brumbies - would be another that the Reds failed to...
Todd Dammers just won’t go away - he has unseated Stevie Kefu as BBC 1st XV coach.
Got to admire his resilience he just keeps getting up off the canvas.

RIP my Rugby mate - what a courageous last part of your life you just kept fronting up for more Chemo - I don’t know of anyone who has had more rounds of Chemo than Doubles.
That’s my point about having 4 grade, 2 colts & a women’s side.
It might be possible to make a mega club on the north coast but they haven’t been able to do so on the GC.
Why would a guy who plays at 3pm on a Saturday in the SC local comp and on the tins by 5, want to play 3rd/4th grade in QPR...
Grumpy old rugby fan here!!
As much as I applaud the end of Hamish McLennan.
Why do we have two former Wallabies (Waugh & Herbert) with no professional qualifications running the game? They are hardly people with great sport’s administration acumen.
When the QRU were in financial trouble...
