Then why wouldn't Uni use Fusesport? It's easy to use and everyone gets to see who actually takes the field. Posted team lists mean bugger all and can be changed. I agree..... do they have too many points and that's why they don't use it? Surely SRU can start fining them for being non compliant...
So SRU are going to audit? HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Too funny. They won't because they don't want to upset the Corporation. I do however like the idea of players having to go to their junior affiliated clubs first though. Then the corporation and or Randwick won't be able to buy them. Funny how Armstrong...
NRL in front again.
Is it just me or does this look like the Space Race between the Yanks and the Ruskies?
Russia had a second class flight programme but were winning the race until the Yanks put a bloke on the moon.
It's a given that we have the better game but we're behind. I'm watching telly...

half,
thanks for your articulate input. Gotta say it's much better than dru. Totally agree we must have teams increased in Super rugby. More exposure equals more participation. But if the ARU are only going to harvest from the upper end of town that can afford the massive participation fees for...
Let's examine this from a $$$ perspective as that's what the ARU are all about. AFL are throwing money at schools to take on their programme. They send players to schools without being asked and $0 expected. The NRL also throw money at schools as well as promote tournaments through schools. The...
and the JGC continues to the detriment of local rep programmes...... but that's ok, we've got leagueys playing JGC then going back to league. Yup that's great for growing our game.
HJ,
Would you know if there's any reason why SRU don't share the finals around? As in 4 clubs get a final each this year, then 4 other clubs next year etc.? Then each club get a shot at hosting which also means picking up extra coin for their respective canteens.
There's the thing.... The AFL and NRL throw money at the grass roots. The ARU just RIP money out of the grass roots ala $1000 for the "privilege" of playing junior gold cashcow!
Well maybe a schools comp will negate the boys having to pay anywhere between $660 and $1200 for the privilege of playing our sport. Now maybe public school boys can get a shot at playing in the elite level without paying for it.
Again SG Ball, Harold Mats etc is FREE...... FREE for the kids.
Round 2 v Gordon the Wix scored 3 tries with one conversion..... at least that's what the team sheet shows. Pretty easy to go to the video to confirm this. Not sure who enters their results...........
I heard some dads talking at the NSW Country Champs about the JGC and how some kids struggle to meet the disgraceful costs to players of the programme. One quipped "If they can't afford it then don't bloody play!" Yep that's an awesome attitude. Yes I gave him a gob full saying if the JGC was...
