    ISA 2017

New 1sts are pretty much as predicted earlier on in the GPS thread, however I've been told Keith has been dropped due to his committed to league, which is a massive loss to their forward pack. Any reports from the 1sts New v Kinross game today?

    ISA 2017

The kid has dominated the SG Ball season so far, absolute work horse playing full games at prop/lock. Rewarded with a 20s appearance last night and played well, definitely not out of depth. Big future ahead. However will play 3rd XV for New.

    NSW AAGPS 2017

In saying that, dont you think Newington should maybe re consider their training schedules to accommodate the students welfare? Morning and also afternoon sessions for students travelling from far distances would inevitably cause disinterest in study. If you ask me, it's a bit over the top...

NSW AAGPS - The Next Generation - U16 Competition, and Presidents XV Rep Team

Quite surprised with the team NSW Schools have opted to go with. Does anyone else agree? Quality players in the team, however the team could benefit with a few positional changes. Just could not seem to execute those simple rugby fundamentals today and made far too many mistakes. Hopefully they...

NSW AAGPS - The Next Generation - U16 Competition, and Presidents XV Rep Team

You're correlation is of very minimal significance. Comparing team performance on the basis of HM players in each team is absurd. At the end of the day what is needed to gain selection into these teams, is simply individual performance. The schools team that was picked is very strong and one...

    CAS U16s 2016

I agree re the comment about Reimer. Did he come on to play hooker at some stage? I was abit disappointed with the amount of game time he got considering the quality player he is. I would prefer him a loose forward. I did notice he picked up a nice pilfer against Presidents, which was not common...

    CAS U16s 2016

If that is the case in your opinion, who else from the CAS team do you believe should be added to the selection suggestion then?

NSW AAGPS - The Next Generation - U16 Competition, and Presidents XV Rep Team

I doubt selectors will follow the form of GPS selectors. Like i have said previously, it is player performance that will gain selection. I don't know if im blind or missing something, but Titmuss is bloody strong. I'm sure others will agree. If you are telling me the President B #8 from TAS is...

NSW AAGPS - The Next Generation - U16 Competition, and Presidents XV Rep Team

That is highly unlikely. Harris was close or the best on field throughout the trials and Titmuss was just simply too strong and played consistently good. So to not have these players start will be quite questionable. Although Douglas plays 1sts, it does not mean he is a shoe in, in front of 16s...

    CAS U16s 2016

Comparing scores from last year and this year is irrelevant. What needs to be considered is player performance. Standouts from CAS from the 16s trials were Cameron, Ilas, Moretti and possibly Chambers, who i believe may be pushing for selection in their positions.

NSW AAGPS - The Next Generation - U16 Competition, and Presidents XV Rep Team

I doubt it. Where would you move Titmuss and Harris? Both are the strongest loose forwards in nsw. Honest opinion.

NSW AAGPS - The Next Generation - U16 Competition, and Presidents XV Rep Team

Pres XV were quite dominant throughout the tournament and i would say a fair amount of GPS boys should be selected. In the backs, Dom Easy was a standout. He was strong in both O and D, showcased a great running game with great ball playing skill. Before getting injured, Matt Dutalis was...

NSW Schools - Trial Games and Selections 2016

This comment is quite absurd. Given the selection in both CAS and GPS, it was a clear blunder to have both boys miss out in starting positions. "Bigger and Stronger than they are" is abit funny of you to say. Reimer has been playing 1sts and from all reports performing strong. Titmuss, a new...

Anyone know anything about Wilkinson (S) Pres 1 #6?

NSW AAGPS - The Next Generation - U16 Competition, and Presidents XV Rep Team

Mate do you actually attend the games? Could you please give me a detailed response in where Lewis and Titmuss have been performing poorly. I am rather clueless and I think deezebola would agree. In their defense like i continue to express, they do their job quite effectively where needed, there...

NSW AAGPS - The Next Generation - U16 Competition, and Presidents XV Rep Team

Strongly agree, some very poor decisions. Did you not see Titmuss today? Quite easily the standout forward of the day and in yesterdays outing with Kings. How he did not grab that #8 jersey is quite confusing. Dalton performed outstanding today, his attention to detail is definitely a key part...

NSW AAGPS - The Next Generation - U16 Competition, and Presidents XV Rep Team

Mate, all he is saying is that the boys who play both games can clearly tell a good solid player from another. At their age, there is a clear difference in player quality lol. You go watch a HM rep game and look at not only the size but quality of skill that both forwards and backs possess. Then...

NSW AAGPS - The Next Generation - U16 Competition, and Presidents XV Rep Team

In terms of forwards for New, your assumed "red hot" players have done their job where needed. Bell has been unstoppable in all aspects and Titmus has scored a number of trys. You need to keep in mind that there are numerous players from 16B playing up. Janson has also been playing 1st and 2nd...

NSW AAGPS - The Next Generation - U16 Competition, and Presidents XV Rep Team

How are you forming your opinion on "form"? You seem to have high expectations of the New 16s team because of 6 players, how about the rest of the boys. Having watched all of their games, some are under performing and those are the ones who have not played representative rugby. You appear to...

NSW AAGPS - The Next Generation - U16 Competition, and Presidents XV Rep Team

Yeah mate i was just refuting a comment mentioned before which had Williams at #8, which would not make sense now that you have stated that he does not play #8. Yes of course, Dellow has been quite impressive this year. Would definitely fit him into the backline somewhere. If not fullback...
