Now that the Easts Prems are out how does that effect the selection criteria for the Easts reserve grade.

Mite be the first example of the new 100 Wests are being strategic in going hard at Colts next year with Phil Mooney etc as colts coaches. I expect that space to be the most competitive in recruiting.

Would probably be a function of the new 100 point system the top three teams cannot afford the points.

Joke of the day walked past some brothers supposeters complaining about Wests stacking their team.

I always find it interesting that some of the same guys who think that their teams are waiting for the Reds to come back are the same ones who blame the Wests for having Rebel players in it. We should just be happy to see these guys raise the overall level of the comp.

I think all teams will take games off each other this year. UQ are my pick to miss out but they have finished strong in the past

I don’t worry mate I am sure your team will be fine. If they have the resources to be counting other clubs points at this stage of the season they will certainly be making sure any system suits them seriously good comp this year with 7 teams capable of playing finals.

I like it either way West field will not be up to it when the time arises it is totally munted.

All of the schools are alcohol free venues from my understanding. Club venues are ok I just think Brothers and wests fields are in poor shape. Like many others getting back to Ballymore will be excellent

Pretty much the three worst affected venues in this years rain. Does not make a huge amount of sense.

Both Brothers and Easts field look like potato patches after yesterday so expect so impact injuries in the back half of the season.

I think @TalentFinder is suggesting many who come into prem teams from Super should play on merit I personally hate it when players come back and frankly are not as good as the club player they replace. super players can add a great deal to a club or not.

Each club has to make the right decision for their own field. it will start to get tough to get the replays in though.

While players do move around many are also driven by Agents. to UQ K Thomas, Ripley last year Dillon Row 4 From Norths it is actually a function of other clubs putting more effort into Colts programs and players going elsewhere. It has disrupted the flow of Aussie School boys To UQ. while...

Not a supporter of any of the teams listed but for mine it is in Three. Wests, GPS, Brothers. UQ seem to be a level below with Bond the rest are making up the numbers IMHO. the ladder has them says differently ATM.

TBH if the wests fields are that poor then perhaps the QRU should consider changing venues for the remaining games of the season. We don’t want a bad injury based on the state of Sylvan RD
