After last year I gave him the benefit of the doubt... but this year has been so poor... and no attempt to try new things or players despite the season disappearing long ago.

Yeah Lacey is excellent, I know him and I know he is well regarded by the players. He has played at a good level (Munster) and his main focus of the game is that the referee is NOT the focus...
...he also has a keen involvement in building the game and identifying new players as a Munster...
I didn't see the ref in that result at all... except for one scrum penalty for binding... it is the lack of imagination in attack and one off runners. Very easy to pick. Mafi was immense. The rest though... not so great. Like that little kiwi winger though, he shows some spark. Rasolea must have...
What no Brand? No Khunt? No superstars except for an ageing AB who just gets it done without all the fanfare? I wonder if the Brumbies have learned the lesson the Force taught.....

DHP really stepped up towards the latter half of last year though...
I am actually quietly optimistic about this year - my gripe in the past has been our 10 and general imagination of attack - but last year that started to change and the confidence they showed in attack stepped up.
From my perspective Sias improved substantially, and the understanding between...
Yeah agreed, they seem to have pulled out all the stops - and maybe he (or his mgr) not appreciating the benefits of the great comp against Keatley (plus they seem to get on well too, learning from each other). Biggest concern in my mind is it does add to their depth concerns! Centre depth an...
