I remember hearing that last season as well.
That first half you had us camped in our 22 for good periods, we had the stronger scrum and Woods errors in attack.
I will re-watch today.
Bruised bodies at Manly v Wests - close games. Trials I've seen to date - The Shute will be close again this season.
Depth will play a part - clubs that focus on the club championships should come out of the back end in good stead.
Wow just looked at this thread - i started May 2013 - 10 years on.
I started it as i had concerns that Rugby Australia was off the mark with that of Australian rugby.
Since then i believe Rugby in Aus has declined because their vision was off the mark.

RA and the selected RWC squad.
I look at the scores from Rennie's last tour and the huge injury list he had (close losses to France and Ireland) - I would have kept him on board and made the call after the 2023 RWC.
For Eddie to reference 2027 now as he has done - man, pick the best for 2023 "4...

Porecki on the kneck role, as soon as he got up there he let go - one of those calls,
On Rennie - I'm a fan, look at the bigger picture;
Players out.
How close v Ireland and France.
Bring back the mud tracker games so touring players get to play in gold and gel as a team, and test matches get...
Agree - I was more referencing players doing hard work and developing, and pointing out that sometimes development is better offshore - playing rugby with adults than being picked out of school. I like the current coaches - Rennie > Thorne, > DC > McKellar - the system is working well.
