Super Rugby Round One: Reds vs Waratahs. Suncorp Feb 24

Agree with the 2nd part of this. I also don't see a problem with registered club players getting free tix to one or 2 games a year. Perhaps a last minute thing where qru announce the night before, only those who have paid subs able to get it. Get them in, more of a crowd, get them spending cash...

    Waratahs 2024

Ideally you have a 12 who can do it all. You're right in that foketi is the closest to that. Particularly going on his form over the past couple years. I'm not suggesting that edmed is the starting 12 for Tahs but that I believe his current skillet is probably more suited to 12 than 10.

    Waratahs 2024

I think when you blokes get Harrison, Hanigan, FLW (Fergus Lee-Warner), Jorg, Perese, Poreki back there will be a pretty big difference Certainly not a good showing against the Reds however it's good time in the saddle for them before rd 1. I'm not sure what you guys do with Gordon. I like him, seems to be a...

    RWC: Pool C - Wallabies v Georgia, SdF Sunday 10th September 2am

Scrums were great. Even the reserve front row went well when they came on which no one expected. The lineout was mostly good. I thought all the forwards had good games. Gordon wasn't at his best but kept working into the game which is admirable. Kerevi was well marked but doesn't look to be...

    Wallabies 2023

Poor in relation to what he is capable of. Certainly wasn't his best game. He at 6s and 7s

    Wallabies 2023

He provides a hell of a lot if you listen to those who have played, trained and even coached with him. I'll take their words over some random punters on a rugby forum. This is all heresy at the moment regarding his non involvement with Aus A. From what we know he may have been told he wasn't...

    Wallabies 2023

Foketi was poor on the weekend. I was really impressed with him last year but he looked really out of sorts v France the other day. Looked like Paisami had a decent game for A? I think the date has passed for any squad changes though.

    France v Wallabies (RWC Warm-up), 28/8 1.45AM AEST

Positives: Vunivalu had probably his best game in Rugby against arguably the best team in the world. Not sure where this leaves our back 3 and our reserves. Most impressed with his work off the ball and decision making. Marky Mark (Nawaqanitawase) was good as was Kellaway apart from 1 big mistake. Skelton was...

    Bledisloe 2 2023 @ Dunedin 12:35PM Sat 5 Aug

A much improved performance again. My positive thoughts: -Bell is a legit freak. We need to keep him on the field to be a chance at the WC. He is a cheat code. - Poreki his usual pretty reliable self while on - Pone surprised me. He had a great game in the loose. Bullied the fuck out of some NZ...

    Bledisloe 2 2023 @ Dunedin 12:35PM Sat 5 Aug

Fair points. I do recall him picking size over skill at the Reds. Waugh and Smith were both exceptional players at 7. As were Underhill and curry.

    Bledisloe 2 2023 @ Dunedin 12:35PM Sat 5 Aug

Exactly this. He doesn't offer anything "better" at 7 that McReight. He is a better lineout option and has some extra weight. McReight offers more speed, dynamics, better tackler, more experience, more leadership, better pilferer, better attacker, more skillful and something which is often...

    Bledisloe 1: 29 July @ MCG

Mayb Maybe he wanted to set a bar / level he believe they could achieve to actually compete against the best in the world? He did repeatedly say this as well as commenting they weren't where they needed to be to perfect their game plan. Clearly they were trending in the right direction though...

    Wallabies 2023

Agreed regarding Samu. I can't ever recall him having a poor game for the Wallabies. There was maybe 1 game he was average but he always seems to lift for intl footy. Huge impact off the bench with great experience now. I think it ties in with the latest shiny new thing out of NSW being Gleeson...

    Wallabies 2023

Samu missing out is rough. He always brings much needed energy off the bench. Would be in my 23 every game. I would have liked to see him trialled at 7 as well. Suspect Gleeson will get a chance to show what he has got against NZ and if he performs will go to the WC over Samu. Has Samu signed...

    Wallabies v Argentina @ CommBank Stadium 7.45pm Sat 15/07

I I don't think he is referring to the definition of gifted. More the fact that you said a bloke, who is very clearly a gifted athlete, isn't one.

    Wallabies v Argentina @ CommBank Stadium 7.45pm Sat 15/07

He is actually firming now isn't he? Smart player, good defender. I really like Foketi as well but see him primarily as a 12 and don't think Kerevi is a 13 these days(defensively). The way rugby is played now though the number on their back is just that... a number. They can still play other...

It's the kids 2nd test match... and out of position at that. He isn't the reason they lost.
