Round 2: Reds v Canes. Sunday.

Reds by 7. Hurricanes will struggle without some of their key players and Reds will take things to another level building on last week.

Super Rugby Round One: Reds vs Waratahs. Suncorp Feb 24

Would be good to see HMP get a crack at the starting 10 spot. I liked what I saw from him in the Tahs trial - still things to work on but direct, defensively a bigger body and looked good playing flat in attack off quick ball.

    RWC Pool C - Australia v Wales - 5AM 25 Sep AEST

I know there's a lot of factors at play here but let's not forget how tough it is play to rugby without your first and second choice THP, and have a LHP play THP. Sure it shouldn't be the reason for losing by 34 points but it does contribute

    RWC Pool C - Australia v Wales - 5AM 25 Sep AEST

What I want to know is whether Eddie actually had the full support of the players going into the game (in light of the story about the Japanese coaching role being leaked). Surely the players are on social media (regardless of whatever they say in press conferences etc.) and some would have...

Les Kiss at today's press conference: There will be an announcement probably in the next week that the Reds have signed a really exciting young backrower and maybe a couple of more signings before the end of the year. Any ideas who it could be?

    Bledisloe 2 2023 @ Dunedin 12:35PM Sat 5 Aug

What's the view on Slipper's ability to play THP? I haven't seen much of him at THP since he's mostly played LHP. He's not the biggest prop out there (117kg) but with his experience can he anchor down a scrum at THP?

For that first try, the 0.5 second delay at the top by Holloway gives S Barrett the chance to come through and smash McDermott. Compare that with how quick Arnold is able to deliver the ball off the top to 9 in the second half. Either speed or they go to the front pod and have a blocker.

So assuming Tupou broke a rib/s, that's 6 weeks and he'll be back in time for the RWC? Can't see Wallabies going far with a third choice tighthead (arguably the most important position on the field) - Nonggorr, Fa'amausili, Talakai?

Remarkable they aren't playing quick channel one ball when Tupou's playing with a broken rib.
