Round 1 CAS 2021 in coming. I'm back baby !! Ha ha ha. My predictions for the weekend are as follows;
- Trinity def Aloys 15+ (Kidd to bag a double)
- Barker def Brook by 3 points (due to Katoa slotting a field goal as the siren sounds)
- Knox def Waves in a nail bitter (as they will show more...
Interesting how Barker continue to pull in some more new boys who are 'coincidentally' freaks of the game. No wonder why they dominate the comp every year. I think it's time they relax on the imports so we can see the comp be much more competitive due to the fact that the weaker schools...
Strong effort from Barker getting all 3 wins. Both the 1s and 2s must have had a real good defensive game, not allowing any tries in. Any notable stand outs ?
Mr S
Ahhhhh. Good to be back. What a cracking rugby season we have ahead of us this year. Waverley and Barker obviously being the favourites again this year, but I do hear Knox and Cranners will have a red hot crack this year. Personally don't know too much about Barker, Aloys or Cranners but do know...
Personally don't know too much about the brooks 16A side this year, but I know there will no more than 1 of them that will be in the starting side excluding Nosa Obeseki who played the whole season starting in the 1XV.
Good to see some predicted teams and ladders being tossed around the new forum page nice and early, by the sounds of it we have a good season to look forward to. As usual Waves will be the favourites followed by barker and the likes of Cranners being thrown in the top 3 doesn't surprise me after...
Morning H,
Havent heard too much over the past weeks about any games being streamed but am concerned whether or not the games will still be played due to the large amounts of rainfall predicted, does anyone know if the games can be cancelled due to large amounts of rain flooding the fields ...
Unfortunately didn't get around to any games this weekend but sounded like a great weekend of schoolboy rugby with Waves showing some great sportsmanship in their relatively easy win, not looking too good for trinity with two losses back to back at Summer hill. Heard Cranners and Knox was a...
Hey Pooper, I don't think BOTE stand for 'Background Other Than English' unless the statistics provided are wrong. As the percentage factor for Waves is extremely low which seems very unusual especially after seeing their u16A, 2XV and 1XV play the other weekend as each team predominantly...
Sounds like a plan lads, I will also be there. Hoping to pinch one of the Cranbrook boarders and pass as their guardian to get let into the school HA HA, worse comes to worse ill be up on the chapel roof with you fellas with a possible tinny in hand. Looking forward to watching this cracking...
Couldn't agree more with you J Walsh, was a cracking game of footy to watch at Summer Hill although I had to watch from behind the school fence it was one heck of a game. Good to see Cranners get stuck into a tough physical battle against a much heavier team but Cranners were the better side in...
Welcome Johnathan, looking forward to another cracking weekend of schoolboy rugby. My predictions for this weekend are as followed;
Knox win 25+ over Aloys
Barker defeat Waves by no more than 10 points
Trinity defeat Cranners by no more than a try
Still tossing up whether to head down to QP...
Couldn't agree more RR, trinity vs brook will be a cracking game to watch with an ice cold frothy in hand especially after watching brook rip in against waves last weekend. Will be interesting to see how they mark up on trinity's danger man Hawkes as he tore them up last year, yet to see...
HA HA quite the genius you are SDW tipping Waves to win by 20+ which I believe was true although Fretton did not bag one single try at all but his opposite winger had a field day scoring a double using his speed around the immobile flanker who has found himself out of position on the wing. I...
Sadly not, I do have a younger boy in year 6 though and am currently looking for a high school for him to attend, to benefit his education as a main priority, which I do not believe Waverley plays a high importance on after hearing a few negative comments regarding their academics.
Mr S :)
