Cranbrook vs Aloys next week should be a beauty. Tyneside will no doubt be a fortress and Cranbrook will be keen to finish the season that started with so much promise. Aloys will be keen to peg one back for the trial and finish high school with a win in front of the Aloys faithful. Corn.

SDW, I appreciate your archival efforts, but I’m 100% sure Cranbrook beat Waverley in Death Valley in 2015 on a very muddy afternoon, I was there watching a friend’s son in the Cranbrook team. It was a two round comp back then as we all know, so I’m sure your result was the other game that year...

Predictions for Round 3 of CAS SAC vs Barker: Barker have made the most of a favourable schedule to start the year and sit atop the CAS ladder with 2 wins from 2 starts and have certainly flexed their muscles already this year. Despite some controversial interior rumblings in terms of the...

Tagg (C) is a wonderful player with an extraordinary work rate. That being said, I have only seen two Cranbrook games but in both (Knox and Aloys) he was exceptional in both attack and defense and he could've gotten stiffed for a NSW 2's Jumper... Corn.

Any chance you’d be able to find a NSW team list as I was under the impression a full squad was yet to be chosen...

Interesting that Cavalier Barbarians have selected the 10 from Scots Second XV and the 9 from Joeys 3rd XV as the players in the school teams above these two in the corresponding positions have both missed out. Not saying it’s wrong, just seems that there must be a reason for these relatively...

Not to open a can of worms, but from what I heard from a very reliable Cranbrook parent is that the Barker physio was wired up to the coaches and was standing next to the fullback barking orders such as “exit” or “play it out”. Not sure where this falls in the CAS laws but is certainly worth...

Hi Rod, I don’t mean to throw accusations as some of your claims were extremely astute but it seems like you certainly viewed both games through red-tinted glasses. Out of the four CAS players you chose in the combined XV, three were Barker Players. They certainly played well and Pollard was...

Certainly as an Old Boy of Aloys and a father of a boy in the 14A’s, I believe the views of the Aloys_win do not reflect the ideas of the school or its core values. CAS is wide open, perhaps someone could perform mid-season reviews of each side?

Aloys_win, I can't say I agree. Winning one game doesn't make a season unfortunately. Agree Weber was hard done by and certainly one of our best but I can't say that many other boys were unfairly treated. I think some shadow players got very lucky but that is how it goes. Otherwise, keen to...

Anybody have the results for Aloys lower grades (opens) yesterday? Would think it'd be a hard day out at DV. Corn.
