Crews always turn up to the start line with one thing on their minds (thats's if you turn up at all).
The first race is not always the final but it is at HOTR.
A trend has been building momentum and it can be seen right there in the results.
Some crews go slower, some stay the same and some go faster.
Sometimes people in sport make Rookie errors when under huge pressure.

It wouldn't be the first time they've done it.
It wont be the last.
Aces are not boat run. Boat run is boat run.
Good luck to all crews.

it will be interesting to see how Scots go on saturday. They have been a no show at some regattas lately, and might take the place as the underdogs. But the crew with the most to lose in this race is Shore, as they have been the clear favourite for first place for a long time and haven't had a loss yet.

Not against the NSW schools. However, they were comprehensively owned by Scotch.

*ROW-LERT* nephew told me that there were some discipline issues within the lower fours of New. I think it is cleared up though. Appprently the headmaster wanted to pull them out on the 150th anniversary? what a shambles.

Based on previous results, your predictions aren't very accurate, and your 'Grammar' needs fixing. Ha Ha.

Shore have won every final race to date with Joeys not far behind the pace. Riverview has averaged 3rd place in a majority of their races, with Newington predominantly recieving 3rd and 4th places. In the lead-up to tomorrow, Kings has been in striking form placing 2nd in their last two races, although there hasn't been a full field on both occasions. Scots again are in similar form to Newington and Riverview, however will struggle to obtain a podium finish.

Shore to good, no one can be surprised with that effort. Joeys had a solid row and so did Kings and Riverview to all be within 5 seconds of the winning crew. Good to see half the field under 6 minutes. Great row by Joeys in the second VIII. Kings after dominating the first IV all season lost to a Shore which had unbelievable and some may say suspicious improvements. The quality in the Year 10 First VIII was good. Shore's first Jnr VIII had a time that would of given them 3rd in the GPS Second VIII and for the grammar jnr VIII to be a second off them means it will be interesting in two years time. HOTR 2014, I'm predicting another Shore v Joeys battle
