Beware of the F.U.D. from vested interests (e.g. fossil fuel companies, some "journalists", shock-jocks, etc.), and from ignorance.

Just read some of the comments for F.U.D. and for ignorance.

This comment caught my eye:-

Why is Australia so far behind in EV vehicles and infrastructures compare to other countries

Government inactions. With no government policies in place (go or bad) businesses don’t take the risk for investment, hense to slow infrastructure roll out. That’s why after Tesla, the motor clubs of Australia are the ones rolling out the most fast chargers in Australia. Goes for cars as well. With no guidance of rebates/ incentives / policies, car companies don’t wanna risk a roll out here, especially with us being a right hand side drive country, which is only 30% of the car market last I saw. Look at the UK. With things in place like above, their renewables investment is massive, both in cars and infrastructure.

Cupra was the performance arm of SEAT, but now they're a brand in their own right.

On this week's episode of Drive TV, Trent hits the road out of Brisbane on an easy day trip in a city-focused, compact electric vehicle, answering a question we get asked often. Can an EV like the GWM Ora work for the sort of country road trips that we take on Drive TV?

This large SUV is the first of four all-new electric Lotuses that will set new benchmarks in performance, luxury and technology when it arrives in early 2024. It is also something of a high-priced bargain if projected pricing eventuates

Australians have been waiting for an affordable electric car. Now, MG has delivered. But is it any good? We recently drove a UK-spec MG 4 to find out.

The 2023 GWM Ora is an important electric vehicle, not just for GWM but for the affordable electric vehicle segment in this country. Trent Nikolic tests the Ora Extended Range at launch, to find out where the Ora fits in the ever-growing sub-$50,000 EV set

The Tesla Model 3 is Australia’s best-selling electric sedan, and last year even dethroned the Toyota Camry Hybrid. Is the cheapest version the best, or should you wait for the updated model due soon?

We know that electric cars are quiet and efficient. We also know that they produce zero tailpipe emissions and can potentially save you money. But did you know that they are also great fun to drive? Although many ‘driving enthusiasts’ are often quick to dismiss electric cars as soulless devices, those who have made the switch are often surprised by how much driving pleasure they deliver. Join Nicki as explains what an electric car is like to drive and highlights the key differences you will notice when you make the switch.
