With a new season just about to start it would be great to see some discussion about bush footy in the Central West of NSW.

A big piece of news is that Blowes Clothing Cup (1st grade) games will be live-streamed this year via Clutch TV which is a big plus and will hopefully allow some of our city cousins to keep tabs on what is happening out here.

Who are the favourites to win 1st grade? Any players to watch for 2021?

Wins again for all the home teams today in round 2:

Dubbo Roos 20 - Bathurst Bulldogs 19
Cowra 43 - Orange City 7
Orange Emus 38 - Forbes 26

Emus jumped out to an early lead and were in a commanding position at halftime. To their credit Forbes hung in there and secured a 4 try bonus point with the last play of the game. Great afternoon for rugby and a cool drink on the hill.

Home teams got up again in round 3 of the Blowes Cup last weekend. The home team has won every games so far this season.

Forbes 25 - Orange City 22
Cowra 36 - Bathurst 22
Orange Emus 38 - Dubbo 7

Great to see a few Tah’s players out here this week running some training sessions with some Junior Clubs and all the CW rep teams.

The Shute Shield come to Orange this weekend with Easts taking in the Two Blues at Wade Park. Orange Emus take on Orange City straight afterwards. Other games this weekend are Dubbo v Cowra and Bathurst v Forbes.
