tbf relying on Doleman's incompetence to carry you home on the final play isn't smart. Richie would never have allowed it back in the day.

Look the shine on them isn't what it used to be, but they massively out smarted the blues in that final 30. Played Doleman like a fiddle and knew they were doing it. Blues a much more talented side, just not better on the field when they needed to be.

It really was. When your 1st 5 is a cotton-wooling princess mercenary-type who fancies himself as some sort of Tom Brady seppo-style quarterback instead of a committed part of the team and would rather loft up hit-and-hope crosskicks or cop out midfield bombs that go all of 15 metres and turn your guaranteed possession into a 50-50 then you are pretty much halfway fucked from the get-go.

Slackbladder and Whitelock were straight up murder in that match. All Blacks.

In the calm light of day, this game was a HELL of a ding dong. TL/DR; it was gripping viewing.

Blues losing both props inside the first 13 minutes slightly rooted them. Then they reached around and rooted themselves even harder by dropping the ball over the tryline 18 times.

I dont understand wft is going on at 1st 5 with Beauden Barrett/Stephen Perofeta/Zarn Sullivan. EVERYONE can see BB is shitting on the rug of excellence and handbraking the entire enterprise.
