We don't need a coach to teach us their system, we need a coach that can mold a game plan to suit our players strengths. Playing a narrow, tight gameplan with our players is totally counterproductive, square peg round hole stuff

TT interesting as that is stuff I didn't know. All I know is that Deans has been almost unbeatable in Japan since he left and Rennie appears to be doing a good job. The problem is where is that Coach????

Also retaining a defence coach who is way past his use by date. The England D v AB's was very impressive.

Love Wilsons passion for our country, he is a great leader.

Unfortunately don't think he is up to test standard, he is too inaccurate across the field and lacks getting across the gainline. Would prefer we captain McReight and get some more balance in the back row.

Not sure about Gleeson. I like the look of the young guy at the Brumbies who was in the Rebels squad, sorry can't remember his name. Looks to me like a good 8 or 6, depending on how he develops.

Look iv'e been critical of Wilson but to not have him in the current top four backrowers is probably too far. He's relatively very low error which this side needs and always busts his ass which this side needs and needs to take note of. Could he be more physically confrontational? Yes (I wish) but it isn't his game. That is why Iv'e thought he could be a useful 6 with a game message to roam and be a extra link in attack and be there to tackle mobile guys.

I hope Hooper in the next couple of years can shift into being a mobile abrasive Lock that would benefit the side. Take away a bit of the need to always balance a big and and athlete. Williams is all heart but limited at Test level and doesn't fall out of Wallaby squads in my eyes but falls out of the best 23 and is in the backup group.

Tualima is the guy I was thinking about. I did see some of Talataina's efforts last season and agree he looks good, I just like the way Tualima gets over the ad line and seemed to have good hands and vision.

Ah yes, sorry forgot about him. He's 28 so is probably on the outside of selection unless he kills it this year but new coaches and potentially a string of losses could open the door for some of these guys to get a look in if they can play well.

It could be an issue that we don't have good talent ID, particularly regarding those who could possibly step up.

But, as he did during the remarkable win over the Springboks at Ellis Park, O’Connor has regularly sought to find space on the fringes.

That hasn’t always gone down well with Schmidt, The Roar understands.

The experienced coach hinted on that in his post-match press conference.

“I thought we probably overreached a couple of times passing long in those wet conditions,” he said.

“I think maybe a shorter passing game and we’ll have a look at that.

Be interesting to see what Kiss makes of JOC (James O'Connor) in the future. Feels like his style of play better matches that expansive style than JOC (James O'Connor)'s

Could also explain the disjointed nature of the game if JOC (James O'Connor)'s playing one way and the rest of the backline is trying to play SchmidtBall
