I’m warming to 11. Pietsch 12. Ikitau 13. Daugunu 14. Sualii 15. Jorgensen for this one. It needs to be tried. Plan B to the normal set up if it’s not working.

I’d have Daugunu at #12 for biff-bash and Ikitau back to his best slot at #13 looking to fulfill or direct creativity and wide ball.

I’m happy either way.

The "Wallabies 10 Wheel of Chance" has landed on JOC (James O'Connor) (James O'Connor) this week according to Christy
I like it, he and Carter should be the two matchday 10's but the merry go round is so frustrating, why wasn't he in for Italy or in the team from the start of the year, if we seriously think he can make it to 27 then let's consistently play him now

I can't be certain but I'm fairly sure this is how they pick who plays there:

I guess the obvious answer here is Schmidt doesn't think he's particularly good as a starting international 10 (and that's reflected in his record there - one win in a decade?), but unfortunately, it turns out he's fairly obviously better than any of the other options we have tried recently.

Someone should let Len know then...

There were reports that Ikitau, who last month completed his move to Exeter, had an agreement with the English club that he would not play the Italy game, but the midfielder instead put his omission down to the fact that Wallabies coach Joe Schmidt wanted to see more of Hunter Paisami and Joseph-Aukuso as a centre partnership.

"I think just with the combinations, I think Joseph and Hunter were going well," Ikitau told reporters in Dublin. "And obviously it was first week back in [camp], so I don't think Joe wanted me to play. [It] was obviously disappointing, but [after] the week of training and training this week, I should be up for selection."
I'm just repeating what the word on the street was.
Was his WIFE, not having a baby last weekend?

its so golden generation wallabies fans to continue talking about the 10 as the critical selection.

we now have 50% of possible 10's out injured, one completely out of favour, one who is unilaterally hated for being a ranga and a brumby, and a former prodigy turned heel turned again into a hero.

i'm loving the secret cabal of wwe writing talents at RA HQ building this current story arc.
