Is Blacktown so dangerous?

Is Blacktown so dangerous as people say? I lived in Greater Western Sydney, Bonnyrigg (Fairfield) but I never been there. I took the train to Parramatta several times but only one time I went to Penrith to watch a Panthers game.

So I've been in Blacktown station lol but just throught the window
