Apart from end of season 2015 reviews, and comment on the ISA Div 2 Finals matches, which still should be on the ISA 2015 thread, it is time to move on to next season.

Who will be back for 2016 ISA Opens Teams?

Very few Rep players will be returning, and almost none of the 1st XV.

I've probably got a few of these wrong, but will revise the list as people post corrections below.

Came down to the last game Pius vs Auggies, whoever won the game won the title: Auggies won the game.
The Pius No 10 Dom Easy is a standout player and should be in the mix for ISA next year.

CAS and GPS threads have predicted U16s Rep teams for 2016. Anyone want to have a go for ISA? Would have thought you could put together a cracking side with a number of players likely to play opens.

Would have thought Devine and Easy as a pretty good start as players eligible to play 16s (Rep) again. Are there any others?

Quite a few from Augies and Pius too I would imagine!

Look at Hugh Jarses 1st post and at least two schools ( Auggies and Stannies) should have well defined teams. Auggies may also have some League players who didn't rep at ISA as mentioned in other threads one being Hopoate

there are rumors of a changed 1st Division format next year, a home and away reflective of the other two rugby associations' season format. This could send a current 1st division team to second division

lets throw in the Easter Bunny
according to the ISA winter sport table P.X did not win the 16As 16bs or 16cs

Augustine's beat Pius by 20 plus in the 16As, strongly doubt that Pius won it.

EDIT: In fact the ISA website would indictate the following results for Pius
Team/games won

1sts - 0
2nd & 3rd - no team
4th - 3 (presumably this was their 2nds)
16A - 3
16B - 1
16C - 0
15A - 0 (this team won the comp in the 13As)
15B - 1
14A - 0
14B - 0
13A - 4
13B - 2
13C - 1
13D - 0

Those who have wanted a two round set up have apparently had their wish granted. It remains to be seen if this is a good move or not.

In terms of trials (only the ones which I know)

Augs have trials with Eddies and Knox
Oakhill have a trial with Newington
Pius have trials with Grammar and High (which maybe says something about where they see themselves in terms of strength)
