It would help to create jobs 1st rather than the debt. However, it doesn't proclude cutting waste, or ALP grand visions etc and could be aided by a co-operative senate. Greens are just mad and on the nose around the country. So why does the ALP stick to things like the Carbon Tax and other items by voting with the Greens in the senate.

It will bite them in the arse and in the short term be a hinderance to creating those jobs.
