NSW AAGPS 2025 (banter and commentary)

Frustrating Kings 16A‘s game. Plenty of clean jerseys out wide as the 12 and another couple of players decided to verse View By themselves. Disappointing rugby for Kings at this level.

that’s a shame, I have noticed the last two years in particular schools like Scots View and Newigtion booing during goal kicks.

hopefully it gets rubbed out soon!
Garbage re View. I think you threw that in for colour.

I have been to each View match this year including Trials and stand near to them.

They are well supervised and would be in major, serious shit if they did that, this year or any year.

Not even attempting an exaggeration here but it might have been +20 in favour of Scots. Referees are important to the game but what we saw at the Death Star today was nothing short of disgusting. The passion that was shown by the Shore crowd was unbelievable. You boys didn’t deserve that. Hopefully he doesn’t get another gig anytime soon
Was some similar performances in the lower 16s teams, the ref was basically cheering Scot’s on while he was on the field…

I am aware that the Scots No. 5 cannot defend himself so I will attempt to walk the tightrope.

Lets say the conduct showed by TSC 5 on SHORE 6 was completely disgr******** maybe a show of frustration or nerves getting the better of the lad. Who knows, but that conduct cannot (and was not) tolerated at any level.

The AAGPS suspension policy will come under heavy scrunity following this event.

Hopefully the lad learns his lesson because conduct like that has no place in AAGPS Rugby
Also happens to be the first player from the sidelines to run over and celebrate after the pen goal. Thought he might've got a bit of a talking to on the sideline to think it's not a good look after a red

Same with 1s and 2nds, oddly. I think maybe they all trained for the wet weather game plan?

Joeys v New (A’s) Margins
13s - Joeys + 80 (unsure)
14s - Joeys + 48
15s - Joeys + 87
16s - Joeys + 17
2s - Joeys + 19
1s - New +1

Absolutely appalled. The culture of New rugby at the moment is horrendous. I think everyone can agree that it’s unfair to all the New boys who have a dream of playing firsts one day, and then New bring in hundreds of thousands dollars worth of players in opens. Maybe they should consider investing more in junior development. @Joker would agree, we did have a chat about this.
The reality is Newington is not a rugby school as much as Joeys, View etc. They do push rugby but they also push AFL and Soccer very heavily so they don't have the numbers, depth or quality at junior levels. The new DOR is focused on shifting things from trying to buy premierships but it will take 3-5 years to turn it around. He is big on building better coaching and development through all years and grades and bringing a better culture back that was undone by the previous DOR.

Anyway, it was a great win by the 1st XV and we will celebrate it. And rightly so.

Sources tell me the Scot's boy in the five jersey through around ten strikes at the head to the blindside flanker of shore (6). Quite disappointed to hear this still happens in schoolboy rugby and heard it was right underneath the assistant referees nose who did not attempt to break it up.

Not sure it was 10 but deffo hit him a few times whilst both on the ground. Scots played a man down for the last 20. TBH the game management from both sides could and should have been better.

Scots No.5 will most likely receive a multiple week suspension. Shore No.6 (Stock) handled the situation very well. No stomping or punching like we saw from the Scots lad. Well done Shore. Still unsure why the Scots No.5 retaliated like he did. It was a clean tackle and he decided lash out on Stock. Hopefully he is rightfully charged

The reality is the importing from the Pacific Islands has increased drastically!

To all the Shore cry babies....... Play better than the refs ref...... If you are so upset by the so called one-sided ref, just wait till you play the pinkies at the Vatican...... The yellow card your no 8 got could have easily also been a penalty try as well...... And finally & I can not stress this enough, Shore were a man up with 10 plus mins to go AND still lost lol.

A man difference doesn’t make much difference in the end Subbies when you can walk the length of the field 3 times off penalties alone and not attacking footy…

Referee should not ref a game again. As a neutral, that was appalling.
Let’s not say that mate…

Although I am disappointed with many & most calls in the game (going both ways), it was a high standard and a great game to watch.

Special shout-out to D’Almeida (E) who had Lemoto on lock for the entire game. Also thought Galligan (E) and Clout (E) led the Shore forwards pack very well, those Shore forwards as a collective played fantastic. Unfortunately Galligan went down in the last 5 minutes and although there is no diagnosis yet, I hope to see him back with positive news as he is definitely one of my favourite boys in the Stirling squad.
From Scots I thought the fullback played a superb game, looking dangerous with the ball.

I will definitely rewatch it tomorrow and find some clarity in the refereeing that I couldn’t today, but all in all I thought it was a good day on the hill.

Twister.

Edit: All those unhappy with the calls today, express it, but do it in a respectful way. The referee and TSC no5 cannot defend themselves here…

Absolutely discraceful from that Scots boy. Needs a serious look at himself and some time on the sidelines. Appalling
