Sam Talakai has failed the fitness test and is out of NSW II team. His place has been taken by James Caterson from the NSW 1 bench and Rory McMullin has been bought up to the 1 bench to replace Caterson. Don't know who is being bought in for Rory

have the selectors made a decision on which shadow player there bringing up for rory for nsw II bench?

Really, when did he get ruled out ? I saw him a couple days ago at Waverley training he looked fine.

And yes Sam is his brother.

Does that see chris out for an extended rest again ?

ruled out after congratulated and handed nsw gear, then taken off him after they were not 100% certain his shoulder would hold up after a less than perfect fitness test, hence the bringing up of Luke Burton a TAS boy from NSW Country

Chris Talakai was still officially in the team until wednesday until his MRI results proved that he was insufficient for a week of games.
