Palmer is Aus's current anty politician, they grow when the two parties stink enough

Italy had a comedian playing the same role, the UK has Farage, the US had Ron Paul etc etc

He may well be, but his numbers on the so-called budget emergency/crisis are interesting - the Coalition is in trouble.

When the new Senate convenes after 1st July, the PUP senators stirring the possum will be very interesting.

This may lead to a DD, and considering how much the Coalition is on the nose with the public at the moment a few Coalition politicians would be very worried.

The Five Star party in Italy led by Beppe Grillo. Grillo said in response to complaints from other Italian parties that he refuse to negotiate and form a coalition that he didn't care what happened, he wasn't there to help them form government. He has there to break the system and reform it and make the government represent the people.

Whilst agree Palmer timed his run and made use of the general disenchantment with the duopoly, his primary vote is no different to that achieved by Hanson/One Nation, and Palmer effectively bought his way in. I cannot see it being repeated, unfortunately (just need to do it without Clive).

I would be concerned that as a political party he would have access to information that is not availabe in the market place but available to politicians in confidence.

Clive is fake but he isn't stupid. He is saying all the right things to get the public support.

Some of his statements could be looked at as very sexist but not enough to bring out the left who supported Gillard. That is sad.

Clive is still working for the Nats. If he gets his way there will be no carbon tax, no ETS, etc or even the coalitions policy. So we have no climate policy from Clive. He doesn't cut the Climate commission. No need they will simple be instructed to spend the money there on coalition ideas and when the money runs out the department will not be refunded.
He is a genius. No wonder he made Joh so successful in Qld
