My Dear TG - from all of your posts, you are obviously "on the inside " at BBC, but it seems you keep getting given the wrong oil !
Not sure what it has to do with the game anyway, but the are no heart surgeons in the 14As, or Bs, or cs for that matter at BBC .
It was a good game - focus on that. If you are close to the news at BBC, you would realise the enormous disruption that those boys had to their preparation during the week, as well as the 4 boys out for the season, and another 6 coming into the game after being away from school with the flu all week.
Having said that, even without all of that, it very well may not have made a difference to the result - BBC would've had to be on their A game, and then some, to beat the very committed, passionate, tenacious and well-coached GT 14A XV.
I spoke to some parents at the match and yes must have been a rough week for some of the BBC players. Still, if I wasn't lied to GT also had two boys playing with knee injuries, a forward roped into playing wing, missing their massive number 8, and three boys playing sick. All is fair in love and war I suppose.
Still I've rarely seen a 14s team as well drilled as that, and as keen either.
I'm desperate for the video, I want to see that try from GT 13 again.
