Torpedo Punt

Dont like temporary stands myself....for reference Marist Ashgrove have the dimensions right...still plenty of atmosphere from the grandstand...even if hitting 4 is pretty easy square of the wicket....It's a lunch on Friday between Nudgee and Terrace i.e. the St. Joseph's lunch. It sells out immediately. Not everything has to be about quantity, it can be about quality. Sometimes less is more. Sure they could make it bigger but it would lose its appeal then as a lunch occasion. They will pull close to 10,000 out there on the rugby day at Terrace's AFL/cricket style oval and stand at Tennyson. Terrace should do what Churchie have done and put up some temporary stands closer to the rugby field's outline which has made a massive improvement to the rugby experience there. Just do it, commit fully to rugby. I really don't like test matches played at the Adelaide Oval, the MCG, the WACCA etc. where you are so far away from the game. I like to watch all levels of rugby on rugby fields not on cricket/AFL fields.
