Round 6: Drua v Force - Saturday March 30 - 12:05 pm AEDT

Shiggins

Steve Williams (59)
I thought the ref handled the end poorly. Should of been another sin bin. Force going for a scrum was so wrong.
Drua much better execution and game plan in the wet. Much better side today.

Considering the conditions and the field being an ’atrocious piece of slop’, I thought the Force played pretty well. Difference being the Fijians have grown up playing in these pretty ordinary conditions. Their handling and willing to spread it wide showing their superior skills. Congratulations to the Drua.

Can't knock the Drua. Knew the conditions better and playing at Fortress Fiji. Force need to be better and get consistency which is hard with the injury toll from the season start. The season is shot and all we can do now is look for improvements in playing style (which we have seen in patches) and enjoy watching some of the top class visiting team players coming through Perth for the remainder of the season.

Six rounds in to a fifteen round comp is way too early to be throwing in the towel! Eight rounds at 4-5 points each is available to take; win most of that and you will get to top 4 and at least a home quarter final. They won't be playing the Drua at home in a mudbath every week.

Force have played some good rugby. Injuries have exposed their depth…. Their backline is very good…

And after tonight's game against the Blues?
