Well you have to convert odds into probabilities. TAB currently have both sides at $1.90. Factoring in the 10% take by TAB this means that both sides are a 50% chance of winning. Given the recent records of both sides, particularly when playing each other, would anyone be willing to stand up and say these aren’t accurate odds?

Posted this in another area but think it fits here:

As this last week of the pools rolls through it would be better for Rugby in Australia if we don't make the qtr finals. There would be some glossing over of the issues that have plagued us for years. Centralised systems, aligning all schools, clubs and academy players with better ID of potential players and making the most of what we have with improved coaching and fitness. It is past the time when we can expect to have more players coming through than we have had in the past.

The pool stage has really dragged in this tournament with the extra week. Looks more and more likely that we'll get 24 teams next time around, which will mean games on every day and a much better flow for the tournament. There's been articles suggesting it will either be 6 pools of 4 or a 'Swiss-system' alternative leading into a round of 16. If there's 2 games on every day and the worst 8 teams only play 3 times then I don't think it matters much if there's a bunch of mismatches in the pool stage. It's like the first 2 or 3 rounds of a tennis grand slam. That's a lot better than 3 days without games, and then one big mismatch to start off the next round.

He gets at least one half break with a loose ball a game at the back of a ruck for a chunk of meters if it’s related to meters made?

They aren’t tough Carries like Ardie or even what Kwagga when he gets on
