G'day,

It's October - must be time for the annual Scarf Awards. Have a shave, rent a suit and send the WAG off to the top floor of Westfield to buy a low cut dress.

But first, we need some categories and nominations. To start the ball rolling, I think these might be good:

Best Avatar
- I nominate Moses (all the animated gifs), Gagger (Kev's nose), barbarian (Waugh/Croft), Riddler (Riddler plays for the Highlanders), naza (homoerotic Wallabies), fatpop (fp's fat guys)

Funniest Poster
- I nominate cyclopath, naza, barbarian (just for the Cam Shepherd crack!)

Yellow Scarf of Friendship for Best Foreign Poster
- I nominate PaarlBok, Virgil, Thomond78, RedBeard, Scorz, Mainlander

Lee Grant Award for Most Knowledgable Poster
- I nominate Lee Grant, fatprop, (no, you can't nominate yourself, naz), Cutter, rugbywhisperer

Most "Passionate" Supporter
- I nominate naza, biffo, Spook, waratahjesus

Clubman of the Year
- I nominate NTA, Aussie D, boarman

Gold Scarf for Poster of the Year
- I nominate Gagger, Moses, Noddy

This year we'll also have the chance to vote on best blogger, top blog post, and so on. I think Gagger will be along in a moment to explain.

You can post in this thread with categories and nominations, or send me a PM for more *ahem* sensitive nominations.

Kofi Annan award for best peacemaking - Scarfman
Other than that, pretty much agree with categories.

Oh yeah, the Robbie Deans award should be for the most unintelligible poster (or most use of psychobabble), or maybe a seaparate Dingo award for such?
