Can you tell me why this is "right"? Are you an Eastwood supporter or player?

I will jump in and suggest why this is "right". Correct me if I'm wrong but Eastwood have moved on their last two coaches (Batger and Telfer) mid-season weeks before the finals with both 1st Grade sides in the top 4 at the time. This is why spectatingspecialist feels it is "right". The players are voting with their feet by all reports across the entire club including many Oakhill boys going to play colts at Gordon next year.

I am an Eastwood supporter however it makes it mighty tough to support this club when the board and staff members constantly de-rail 1st Grade teams by putting their own interest ahead of the club.

If all reports are to be believed it will be a very interesting AGM...

AFAIK Easts opened their big wallet and Batger and a few players decided to accept their largesse. Would be happy to be proven wrong. Other clubs are a lot richer than the Woodies. As the saying goes, money talks.

Only half true board had already given Ben two official warnings for termination before he jumped to Easts.
Telfa in other hand received none and was in negotiations for contract extension so he thought and was terminated

Further to this Eastwood used the weaker clubs in Western Sydney & Souths to advance there decision in relation to the changing of 1st grade players between clubs before they advised Telfer he was sacked. It is now abundantly clear what they were doing and the SRU are in a spot of bother with numerous Eastwood players wanting to leave and the lawful enforcement of this being a major issue for the SRU litigators (or in this case the Eastwood defenders).

You should be pouncing Pfitzy. Few recruits to be had. One and done year before lobbing up somewhere else is the SRU stuck to their guns (which they wont)

Maybe I already am?

I hear its only junior soccer that competes with the politics of rugby. When a large chunk of your supporter base are lawyers, accountants and other industries filled with know-it-alls, its ripe for a political free for all!
Such fun...

Soccer is also pay to play so almost everyone feels entitled to more even though the person they argue with has also paid and is thinking the same.

Everyone pays but Soccer is like Dance for anyone lucky enough to go through that. Everyone’s kid is gifted if you open the wallet.
