Super Rugby RD 8: Rebels v Force

Rebel man

Peter Johnson (47)
Hope we get to see the outside backs get some quality ball and the chance to use their speed.
(or at least look threatening enough so the Centres can beak loose.)

Sorry to report from Melbourne there has been some light rain on and off all day. Looks like the weather is starting to turn to winter yesterday it was 28 and sunny but now it’s gloomy as and wet

Equalizer

Phil Hardcastle (33)
We don't care what the conditions are. We shall fight them on the beaches, we shall fight them on the landing grounds.....etc etc. Time for a dialled in ruthless performance by the Force. Hope it's tonight. LETS GO Force!

Dream kick off receive from Rebels. Nice hit up from Leota, then good pilfer by Pone. Man has more strings to his bow than first imagined.

Pone undoing some of his good work by poor work in the scrum.

Miotti doesn’t get much on his kicks does he. Rebels winning the kicking battle.

Geez that is a garbage penalty against the Force. North south east west, it didn’t matter which way the Force player rolled there - he got out of the way well and quickly. Put the damn whistle away.

Leota maybe forgot he was 4 and not 6, stupid penalty from him. I was just about to say he’s been great so far, damaging in tight.

Dunno, tough penalty on Timani. Then again I’ve seen less been penalised though. Remember Simmons used to get penalised for breathing on the opposite LO in Bledisloes.
