Has there ever been a separate topic on this?

Who are they? How long have they been on the Board? What's their background as far as NSW rugby is concerned?

Maybe some solutions may present themselves on further analysis ?

Perhaps even more interesting would be the composition of the Waratahs' board. This body is responsible for the professional or high-performance end of rugby in New South Wales. It would be useful if people knew who to congratulate for the current professionalism and high performance levels of our team.

Most of the credit of course belongs to the Flowerpot Men, Bill and Ben - or if you like, Mutt & Jeff, or Derek and Clive (Peter Cook and Dudley Moore) - Edwin Zemancheff and Arvid Petersen who have buffooned their way through the whole period of degeneration of the 'Tahs.

They have provided comic relief - a few sardonic laughs when we have had precious little on the playing field to cheer about.

The NSWRU receives a licence fee from Waratahs Rugby Ltd for the use of the Waratahs brand. So the brickbats etc should be directed at the board members listed by p.Tah.

I would suspect that the NSWRU is also despairing at how Waratahs Rugby is tarnishing the Tahs brand. Could they take back the licence from Tahs Rugby and bring all back in house?

BTW, some of the boards members have been around longer than their appointment dates suggests as they were part of the NSWRU board before the split.

Anyone know anything about these two blokes?

By their fruits ye shall know them:

15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Matthew 7 (King James Version - the non pareil)

Aren't they both married?
I don't think they're fruits.

Anyone want to have a crack at picking a new look Board ?
The criteria for selection should include;
- Merchant wanking background preferred
- "Two Fathers" (Hyphenated surnames) a must
- People with no interest in junior, school, club or suburban rugby are encouraged to apply
- Willingness to conduct season reviews before season end is non negotiable
- Ability to remain anonymous, avoid the public eye, brush off rugby stakeholders and ignore fans will be highly regarded
- Lack of ambition, reluctance to make tough decisions, and comfort with mediocrity will be viewed favourably.
- Send us a photo, wearing your favourite cravat, and in 2500 words or less, what your preferred wine region is and why.
