I like Medvedev. Speaks uncomfortable truths and plays a great game. He finds some incredible angles on his shots. Was never going to have the crowd after the 'low IQ' comments but I think he would have been a deserving winner.
I went to bed at the end of the 2nd set. Amazed at Rafa's physicality. The guy must lose 4kg in sweat! Plus the accumulated aches and pains of knee-bashing on those sunny hard courts for all these years. A great victory, and as dru said, brings him level with old helmet head Novak, with the French Open to be played.
