Hills v House was a good game, nice and open and both team had the intent to attack and run the ball. Pleasing to see. Hills out early and posted some nice tries, House came back at the back end of the game and looked like they were going to snatch it. Not sure what the pen try was for but Hills looked a cert to score in the lead up play.

22Metri's written a nice preview. Go check it out on the Homepage.

Apparently the battle of the 'hills will be a highlight. Box Hill in a canter :)

I know, it's daylight between the top three, and everyone else. Is it a case of all the good talent going to those clubs, bloody good form, a combination of both elements or something completely different?

I think it's a bit of both, good form as well as very talented players. Don't forget that those 3 sides, apart from the Melbourne v Box Hill game in round 1 I think, haven't played each other yet. Quins have Melbourne and Box Hill in the next 3 weeks.

Tables for the top 3 grades here. Melbourne v Quins this weekend is going to be interesting. Across all 3 they are both undefeated with Quins 3rd grade the only ones who haven't taken maximum points on offer so far.

Quins took the DS result but Melbourne took all the other results. Top 3 in P1-3 are the same 3 clubs, Melb Quins and BH.
Interesting match ups this weekend. BH Moorabbin would probably be the game of the round IMO.

Box Hill v Moorabbin

Moorabbin will be desperate for a win to keep in touch of the top 4. Really good to see End Hills up there and competing for a spot, good for the game in Vic as we all know there is some serious talent out in the SE.

Yep, they are going to miss King as he is in the States on international duty so they might miss a bit around the park that he does. However they definitely have the talent to knock off BH, the only issue is BH only really need to play for 30-40 minutes and they will score enough points to beat anyone.

EH is an impressive turnaround, they have always had a strong junior club and it's translating into senior success. They have a game plan and they stick to it very well. The real test comes if they have a few injuries to their 1st XV and see if they can continue their good run.
