I don't know if he necessarily held back a plethora of tactics but it was pretty clear in my eyes that how JAS was used against Fiji (more like how he wasn't used) is not how he will be used against the Lions, I'm pretty sure he was keeping that card close to his chest.A few questions to Green & Gold enthusiasts:
1. What changes are we expecting from the side that took on Fiji (outside of those necessitated by injury)? Do we believe that someone such as Will Skelton is a certainty for the match-day 23, and a likely starter in the 15?
2. Do we believe Schmidt purposefully held back a plethora of tactics against Fiji, in the interests of spruiking them (if any) on the Lions?

So the form breakaway of Super rugby Carlo doesn’t get a run against any Lions sides? Surely notFor mine, we need to start our strongest XV. Whilst I appreciate the merits of bringing on a quasi "bomb squad", my concern is that we give the Lions too much of a head start and are unable to claw back the ground.
To that end:
- Bell
- Pollard
- AAA
- Williams
- Skelton
- Valetini
- McReight
- Wilson (c)
- McDermott
- Lynagh
- Jorgensen
- Ikitau
- JAS
- Potter
- Wright
- Faessler
- Slipper
- Nonggorr
- Hooper
- Gleeson
- White
- JOC (James O'Connor) (James O'Connor)
- Kellaway

He's a sensational player - I too would love to see him get a run for the Wallabies against the Lions. So the form breakaway of Super rugby Carlo doesn’t get a run against any Lions sides? Surely not

I reckon you’re better off with Lynagh with Donaldson replacing him.For mine, we need to start our strongest XV. Whilst I appreciate the merits of bringing on a quasi "bomb squad", my concern is that we give the Lions too much of a head start and are unable to claw back the ground.

This is why I think Lynagh may start if fit. Donaldson and O'Connor can both cover roles across the backline, and are therefore more valuable coming off the bench. Given O'Connor's late inclusion, it's likely he's third in the pecking order, so You'd think that Joe will carry Lynagh and Donaldson into the 1st test.I reckon you’re better off with Lynagh with Donaldson replacing him.
As Will Skelton embraced the underdog tag, the giant Wallabies lock has declared he’s “raring to go” against the Lions for Saturday’s opening Test in Brisbane.
But the availability of his teammate, Rob Valetini, remains unclear, with Skelton casting doubt on whether the back-to-back John Eales Medallist will be fit.
“Rob wasn’t ready for Fiji,” Skelton told reporters on Monday. “That’s all I can really say.
“He’s building up his prep and, mate, it might be a surprise, he might play on Saturday, but I’m not too sure.”
The star forwards both missed the Wallabies’ only Test ahead of the Lions series against Fiji eight days ago after picking up calf injuries at training.
Skelton, who missed the Wallabies’ clash with Fiji in Newcastle with a calf injury, said he was hopeful he would play against the Lions on Saturday.
“It felt a bit tight leading into that Fiji game, so we didn’t want to take any risks,” he said. “But, no, I trained with the team on Saturday and we’re rearing to go.”
He said Rob Valetini was on track, after also missing the Fiji Test with a calf injury.
Boys. We are now ranked 6th in the world. Hahaha how good!
Nope.Does this Lions series have any bearing on the rankings?
