Well, the Reds already gave the Tahs Rob Simmons

Let’s be real here, Reds are a team of rookies with little experience and you’re asking that the Reds give up their third most experienced forward to complement a Tahs team already full of experience for the betterment of Australian Rugby?

I understand guys like Blyth and Hockings are promising, but shit lets get real they’ve barely got 12 caps of Super Rugby experience between them.

Show-n-go, there were a number of excellent locks who left the Western Force after their collapse. If NSW was serious about fixing their depth, why didn’t they bring any of them into the squad.

This is also not a new area that NSW has suddenly had a short coming in. The organisation has had ample time to find players to fill any holes they think is required.

While I agree that Coleman and Phillip would have been good pick ups, the players do make the decision of where they go. The vast majority followed their coach in a reverse takeover of the Rebels due in part to a (Justified) chip on their shoulder that the other franchises sat on their hands

He did. He rested the remaining players that were required to be rested in the final round against the Highlanders. Kepu, Simmons, Hooper, Beale and Foley all sat out that game to meet the resting requirements.

There was some controversy because late in the season he said he wasn't guaranteeing he would do it, but in the end the players were rested.

But sure, have a crack mate.

That's not true. They did it badly by leaving it until the end, but they complied. You obviously missed the Sunwolves game in Newcastle when they tried to rest too many at once and got beaten.
Also, it was one Waratah supporter...

He only did it because you were not in the running, he said he would not commit to it if they were in the running (for finals).

All of the other teams did it early in the season in good faith.

I understand that he was trying to save his position, but it's hard to reason that it was not self-serving.

The NSW side has been stacked for years, the "salary cap" has been very creatively applied by the ARU in Super Rugby.

NSW has lots of talent, and I look forward to seeing this new squad build and develop from within - which I am sure they will do very well.

If I were the reds, the only player I would even consider taking would be Staniforth. LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) can stay at the reds and find himself very quickly down the pecking order, even as a wallaby

Caps don’t mean much for those players because there are two experienced players ahead of them in LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) and Rodda... What your suggesting, leaves the Reds one injury away from fielding a second row with a combined caps of 12, including the reserve. Experience counts for a hell of a lot in an inexperienced team.

Clearly LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) didn’t want to move otherwise he would during the recent contract negotiations, I’m sure he is aware of the risk of losing his spot, but for whatever reason he sees QLD as the better option for him. That’s professional sport, whether you think he would be better served in NSW, he doesn’t agree.

Why is this our problem? (Tahs lack of talls).

LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) is the incumbent, we want the young backrowers earring their spot. If someone is to take his spot they need to displace him. He also plays lock which is very handy. But he has poor defensive technique when he gets tired
