Super Rugby Rnd 3: Jaguares v Reds - Buenos Aires Sunday Feb 16 10:00am AEDT

tragic

John Solomon (38)
JOC (James O'Connor) Should’ve run that back over the try line and placed it.
Lineout was always going to result in a try
Better a 5m scrum

And even if a high tackle equates to cynical play, usually the ref will say “leave it 7....”. Nothing, penalty, card. Bullcrap

The Argies are playing this beautifully, field position knowIng their ref will find them a penalty.

MOM to the ref , how is it allowed ?

It isn’t - but nothing will happen.

The subjective nature of rugby - makes corruption part of the game.

They're not boring if it's your team. No different to scrums. Part of the game, get into it.

Ehhhh I’ve had issues with mauls for years. It’s essentially just a whole team obstruction. Who goes to watch the game for mauls? No one. At least scrums there is an element of tactics and man v man dominance. A maul is just about who can get the most players in front of the ball the quickest and walk it over the line. But yes it’s part of the game

Also rather ironic this morning as didn’t Thorn make some big fuss about the Reds special maul defence tactics in the preseason. Guess that didn’t work. .
