You would think Tahs are favourites in this one? They been going well, and probably have more to play for? Got the makings of a not bad game.

Did you miss that they’re missing Holloway, Gamble, Perese, HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes) and Bell is on the bench.

Dan how often do I have to tell you drugs are bad?
I dunno, Clan have got plenty missing too Evans, de-Groot, Selby-Rickett, Frizzell, Hunt too, and as I say they might not have quite as much to play for as they not going to get above 8th on table. I think you underestimate the Tahs a little too much. Don't get me wrong, I still barracking for the Clan, and personally hope they'll do it, but actually do think Tahs maybe close to favourites.

Add to that Paddy Ryan is on the bench (guaranteed a few points to the Clan there)

Fluke win against a weakened Saders at home doesn't suddenly mean we can beat Kiwis in NZ mate.

Highlanders on a hot streak and the Tahs coming off the back of a demoralising loss in a game where they should have won with plenty of injuries and rotations thrown in.

Has all the hallmarks of a 50 point drubbing.

Mate can you leave the drugs to me??;)
I will agree Clan seem to be going well at moment and maybe they will win it. I will say I agree you wouldn't want to meet them in finals as they that kind of team. I maybe reading a bit much into them not having much in back up props. I still think what has got me is that both teams have not a hell of a lot to play for, though the Tahs could possibly make top 49But unlikely), but Clan won't end up above 8th.
Anyway c'mon the Clan regardless.

Yep plus Perese out and highlanders coming into some from tahs underdogs here…

But the puzzling thing for me is Roberta not starting in the centres…this just seems wrong given last start at centres had good match

It's not that puzzling really - Roberts hasn't been anything more than average, and with ball-in-hand, arguably below average.

The coaches obviously feel that that they will get more from getting Donaldson on the field.

Haven’t seen lot of roberts but what I saw thought was good. But again not seen much of him so maybe you are right. I admit I probably have bias remembering the Roberta playing for wales…

His last game he threw and intercept try and conceded a (very harsh) yellow.

Read an article with comments from Gilmore, Donaldson gives a second playmaker on the field, so they went that way to give him a shot again.. Also an eye on the future
