I'm sure the Kings oval in person looks very nice but on Cluch, it is way too far away.
Amen....
You watch from behind the posts you are almost 40m from the try line
Halfway? Try at least 30m away from the sideline.
Best viewing is in the corners where you are least 5-10 from the corner post.

You are half right - 13Bs and 14Bs both played each other, Kings 15Bs and 16Bs played the TAS A teams. I doubt it will affect the final rankings @Joker, what do you do though, give Kings and New 1 pt each?
Thanks KOB. Appreciate your comment.

Our stats team at the beginning of the season agonized over this.

They decided finally if a team fronts up and is available to play their counterpart team, but end up playing somebody else due to the counterpart team not fronting for whatever reason, then the available team is awarded a BYE and 2 competition points, the counterpart team are deemed to have FORFEITED and get 0 points.

This procedure has been adopted (for example) for all Scots 15Bs games this season due to the unavailability of the Scots cohort who are decimated by Glengarry.

So for the games mentioned above Kings 13Bs, 14Bs, 15Bs and 16Bs would all get a BYE and 2 points and Newington's 13Bs, 14Bs, 15Bs and 16Bs would all get a FORFEIT and 0 points, on the basis that Kings were available but Newington declined to play them.

In short, a mess but we are doing are best. The stats team have been doing an amazing job and we are grateful for the support.

My post from 9th June

Just on this topic, the Kings v Joeys 2nds rematch will be a thriller after a forward pass led to 7 points in Joeys 17-14 win resulting in Kings first loss of the season.

Go to the cluch feed 1hr 50 sec.

BananaMan if you know someone with a Hudl a/c take a look for yourself. Very obvious.
THE HAND OF GOD
I had to look up what hudl was, unfortunately I don't know anyone who has. If what you say is true then it will make the rematch even more exciting.

Unless you sit in the Brother Henry Stand as per the second photo, viewing sucks at Joeys and that is only possible if you are a Joey boy. So it's no surprise that it's the Joey boys that rave on about it. As seen from Cluch, the temporary and non-existent stands and fence for the opposition and the portable toilets to the right 'are a treat'. The surface is great but so is the JS White with drainage - it used to be a mud pit. Having played at Joeys as a kicker, I would also say that the wind can also be a problem, especially from the south, as it can be at Northbridge. I repeat, the vast majority of feedback from players and cluch viewers is, the King's main is the best for viewers and players. The recent canteen food offerings and service needs some work - used to be much better.

Understand, but just to clarify, according to the Kings fixtures it would only be the 15Bs and 16Bs that get the forfeit, the 13Bs and 14Bs both played Newington Bs

Does anyone know how Gow got injured ?
I believe he had been carrying a finger injury the whole season and required surgery aswell as a stress fracture in his foot. Also young Max Laverty will need surgery on his shoulder. Tough for these young men and scot’s but injures are apart of the game.

I believe Gow injured his finger during the Australian schools tournament and got the stress fracture in his foot from training

Shore will most likely have 3 or 4 Australian Schoolboys next year
Only ones i could think of are
Agreed. The View crowd has contributed to the success of the First XV. As seen when absent vs SHORE, they copped a loss.

Great turnout from the View boys this year. This is proven by having a larger crowd than Scots on the weekend.

In fact, the last time View versed Kings, View's crowd was larger than Kings and IT WAS A KINGS HOME GAME.

Shaping up to be an exciting round of rugby union.

2,4,7,12 are
14 as well

Also the big fella Cooper Guerin has suffered from a back injury after his debut for the scots 1st in the front row, he was shaping up to have cracka season causing havoc in the middle of the field.
