agree with everyone

in other mungo news sounds like tahu is basically dead to their game too now...

Tahu is only in trouble because stood up against racism. I've been surprised at the number of people who put the NSW jumper before human decency.

I know he's accused of racist comments himself recently but that's all they are - accusations. By the boys father. Who's also the coach. I don't know whether he said it or not but it looks pretty shaky to me.

The games I saw this year, he played pretty well for Parra - I hope he works through this and proves his detractors wrong.

Amazing that some people are more prepared to stick up for a guy stuck who his dick in a dog's mouth than a guy who wouldn't tolerate continued racists remarks.

BTW...I wouldn't sign Inglis either.....unless he was happy to take a fairly standard contract. Def not for the big bucks he seems to be chasing....

Well I personally haven't stuck up for Monaghan I think it's one of the most disgusting photos I've ever seen, I think Tahu is a trouble maker & I'm not talking about the Johns incident he stood up for what he believe's and that's good.

Every other time that bloke is in the paper it's for something stupid.

The best league converts were Schiftcoskie and McLindon. They were not greatly high profile and they came over for the right reasons. I remember Schiftcoskie took a pay cut to move. It was a shame he did not make the move when he was younger. Peter Ryan was also a good convert.

My fairly low opinion of Tahu has nothing to do with the (correct) stance he took with respect to racism. It has everything to do with the way he basically threw his toys out of the cot with Union and said it was all too hard and went back to League. I don't think you'll find too many people around here defending the dog defiler.

To be fair, I haven't really seen anyone here defending Monaghan but I have elsewhere. The number of people attacking Tahu though as a "cry-baby" and "sook" because of the Johns affair is ridiculous.

Tahu should have gone to NZ and played rugby. From what I saw, he switched codes at a time when Aussie rugby seemed to be really struggling and he got limited opportunities on the field.

In terms of league converts, you'd have to put Tuquiri and Thorn right there wouldn't ya? Doubt Inglis would be up there with those guys...not immediately anyways.

Speaking of Tahu - what is up with that bloke. Has taken leave from Parra for I dunno how long. He has some serious issues that boy. I don't think he can hack the quirks of professional football.

On Inglis - as much as he would probably be a good player at his peak, he really isn't the biggest player in league anymore. And he is also a bit of a cock. He is a die hard Leaguie and always will be.

I would love it if Rugby picked up someone like Billy Slater who is a through and through professional athletic, in the mould of Brad Thorn.

I reckon he should have gone to France in hindsight. Out of the public eye in OZ and the possibility to get his game together and earn the right to play rep footy here. That should be the pathway now for most of these guys. Otherwise it becomes a bit of a circus. Were many round here having a crack over the Johns affair? I'm a bit surprised by the criticism, as I thought he was spot on.

Thorn is class and I've actually been a little surprised at how well he's gone, considering he's not your classic second rower size. He's got a great attitude though and just does what he does with little fuss. I like him a lot. Lote actually did play very well for the Wobs on a pretty consistent basis. You could call him a success coming across.

Tahu got all the opportunities he deserved, he was injured a lot and ignored advise apparently - as he wanted the light training option and the doctors wanted to fix the underlying problem.

He then got some game time, did well and got a Aus tour and was owned by DeVilliers.

To me, he ended up running back to the NRL because he wasn't cutting it and it wasn't as easy as he thought it was going to be.

Seems to be common for the mungo folk to think union is going to be a cake walk.

I personally hope Inglis stays in league even if it only to play State of Origin every year. I don't think he has the work rate or ethic to make it in rugby.

Agreed, can't see him hitting rucks and turning around working in defense.

He is great when he runs onto a pass with a but of space. Not sure of much else though.

Terrible attitude. Nice joke to play on the frogs though. Off you go son.

We all thought SBW was a massive massive cock-head when he changed from league to union.

Recently with the maturity he has shown in handling himself around the media and in his desire to work his arse off on the training paddock he has shown us he isn't.

Perhaps Inglis isn't a tool and could be an asset to rugby union. Perhaps.

I noticed you were being exceptionally agreeable on the other page.
I agree - Inglis is not worth chasing, or being used by as leverage.

While SBW made quite a bit of cash out of going to France he always said his long term plan was to be an All Black. Inglis seem to only be in it for the money.

... him and the horse he rode in on.

If for no other reason than if you propose him in the centres, his defense will be worse than QC (Quade Cooper)'s until he learns rugby patterns. Cross still struggles and he had a rugby background. This bloke starts from zero. No need to go into the rest of the arguments about not needing him.

Inglis is a greedy prick who should just pay his legal bill and move on

Ta Ta Greg. See you later. Your bike is over there by the exit. Make sure you wear your helmet. You could get hurt.

Nothing to see here, Move on please.

Wtf? Who has attacked Tahu as a "cry-baby" and "sook" because of the Johns affair?

Bullrush, I believe you're fabricating racist gremlins. :angryfire:

Sledging using sly implications of racism always creates bad blood. My usual response is to tell the sledger to f*ck off, but this is a polite forum so I won't, in this case.

I challenge you to provide a link to anyone who has attacked Tahu as a "cry-baby" and "sook", other than in your hopeful imagination.
