What statement would you like . Nonsense spread by I'll informed people is untrue.
That would do to start - we are solvent and won't be needing additional funds in 2013.

How about we are actually focussing on beating the Reds on Friday and playing a solid 80 minutes of Rugby each week . Love this bit about enquiries . I got one for you , ask the Reds if there is any truth that they have welched on paying third party payments due last year to a couple of their Wallabies that are now looking elsewhere for 2013.
Third parties didn't pay, or they paid and the money was diverted?

Very much looking forward to seeing Gus Roberts run out. Huge wraps on him from the coaching staff.

Use the match thread.
Worth having here too. Can talk about the general direction of the team and similar. For example, does Sidey being dropped suggest that Hill is over playing two boshers in the midfield? When Woodward and Beale are back could we possibly see JOC (James O'Connor) in the midfield?

To say there isn't financial issues at the club, would be lying. It's just to what extent exactly.

As you mentioned blues recovery we do get reduced support from the ARU.

Maybe a slice of that Lions Tour revenue will find its way here, in a public or private manner.

Unfortunately there may not be as much available as was hoped, with forecasts predicting a deficit for the ARU in 2014 & 2015 they will likely be frugal with any windfall.

Sidey has shown little in his 3 games. Mitchell will be better with more of the ball. Which will probably help JOC (James O'Connor) more.

Don't forget Vuna is coming back too.

Plenty of competition for spots, which is how it should be.

How are people seeing the use of the bench at the Rebels? Are they lacking depth and thus don't use them that much? I would have thought that in the last game some fresh players coming on at the end could have helped. For example the half back, though he had a good game, a fresh player in that role could have hadded some much needed spark.

Hey JOC (James O'Connor), how's it going?

Going great! Working on my brand.

Good Question. I hope L Mitchell holds onto it. He played there a bit over the last two years. Also - Vuna's due back too, I think I recall a tweet saying he thought he'd be back by the SA tour, which is the same for Woodward. That would be some nice counter attacking prospects for JOC (James O'Connor) to link with.

Pfft, the Rebs won't go under. There'd be all kinds of contracts that would make it fucking hard for H.Michel to get a clean break from the franchise, not that I believe he would. The man did not go into sport to make money, barely any professional sport makes money other than the AFL.

Plus, the notion that any old person can find out that the Rebels may take rather than a journo is absurd. Sure, there aren't many rugby journos in Vic but there's plenty of NSWelshman and Qlders working for the Rebels in all kinds of capacities with links to journos back home.

Sadly, the fact this has gotten forum airtime could end up with it being reported but the fact is the further we get away from being a new club the less money we cost yearly. We have less new costs (facilities, etc.), less money being spent on bringing in established names, etc.
