I am not sure what NZ 3rd Tier Competition games in the ITM Cup will be shown here on Foxtel. Hopefully they have the same coverage as last year where all games were shown.

In case you do not have a team to barrack for already based on the usual factors like a friend or relative comes from there, I enjoyed my time while visiting there, I like their colours, I support them because they have an Australian playing for them, My least disliked Darkness player plays for them, etc, a guide to the competing teams has been provided in this thread à> Choosing a ITM team to follow (click highlighted test to view)

All you need to know and more is available from this web site:->> http://www.itmcup.co.nz/

There are a few Aust based Soup Players intending to cross the ditch and play in the ITM Cup, as well as some Premier Club Players from the main centres.

We should assemble a list of these as this news comes to hand.

And one good thing HJ, a bunch of us Kiwis and Aussie are going to Bled in Wellington, not coming home until monday, so means we can sneak up to Palmerston North on Sunday and catch Manawatu/Auckland game, did same last Bled in Wellington and had a ball!!

I like the idea of the cross over games. It kind of keeps the top teams of the championship and bottom teams of the premiership honest.

ITM games on FOXTEL?

The official on line foxtel guide only goes out to 4 August.

Will we be able to see the kiwi festival of the boot live and uninterrupted in Aust?

The BOP list Kimami Sitauti (Melbourne Rebels) in their team list. I've always had a soft spot for the BOP.

The BOP list Kimami Sitauti (Melbourne Rebels) in their team list. I've always had a soft spot for the BOP.

He was very strong off the bench this season, main reason behind letting Vuna leave a year early is they are expecting big things from Sitauti next season.

Cannot wait for our shield defense to continue as we already rolled Horowhenua 85 zip on Tuesday and have East Coast in just over a week.

Keep your eye on Counties to make a strong charge with plenty of seasoned Super Rugby players in their squad and also their intensely quick style of game.

I always keep a close eye on the Aussies having a run around in our domestic strips, but Ged Robinson this season especially.

It seems most of the TM sides have either not finalised their team lists yet or haven't bothered to publish them yet. Doesn't seem to be many Aussies playing there this year.

Can we claim Doug Tietjens - (apparently born in Kalgoorlie) and Matenga Baker (apaprently born in Sydney) - both Manawatu?

I hadn't realised that Jeremy Sua had left Canterbury/The Crusaders to play for Worcester Warriors. He is a well travelled young man.

Fearless prediction time: Canterbury over Taranaki in the Premiership final, Tasman over Otago in the Championship final. Both rematches of 2012 semi finals I believe.

Here's hoping that Fox cover all the games like they have in past years.

What a shame any Australian players need to head o s for a competition level we should have here.
