- /sarc = sarcastic comment. ie: Folau should play at loosehead. /sarc
- AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) = Adam Ashley-Cooper
- AIUA = As I understand it
- AFAIK = As far as I know.
- ARC = Australian Rugby Championship. Now defunct
- CBS = Crouch Bind Scrum
- CFS = Chris Feauai-Sautia
- CTPE Crouch touch pause engage (no longer used)
- CTS = Crouch Touch Set (no longer used)
- EOYT = End of year tour
- FWIW = for what it's worth
- FTA/FTS = Fainga'a twin Anthony/Saia
- FYI = For your information.
- GOAT = Greatest Of All Time. Usually used by New Zealand supporters to inflate the mythical skills of one player.
- Godwins Law = Given enough time, all threads on G&GR will eventually be about Quade Cooper. (there are only 22 laws of rugby)

- IMHO = In my humble opinion nb: often not humble
