Not that any of us are aware of, was disappointed he didn't come on for the last 10-15 minutes last week.

Played for Melbourne two weeks ago, played quite well from all reports.

i think they are following the standard Rebels rule; if you're not in the match day 23 then you play Dewar shield. Guess that we have a fair indication now that Colby will be picked. Interesting that Alex Rokobaro wasn't on the plane, so might be still a toss-up for spots in the backs - likely due to Bryce's lingering headache (or hopefully lack thereof).

Looks like more injuries at the Chiefs.

The Chiefs are likely to make several changes for the Rebels amid concerns surrounding front rowers Ben Afeaki (concussion) and Mahonri Schwalger (eye surgery).

no i would think they will do as little as possible to disrupt things.

hegarty out and roberts in. either sau or kingston to the bench.

on the other hand who knows what TT might try.

not sure whether all the chiefs injuries help or hinder us. fresh new faces, eager to shine and fired up might inspire the jet lagged regulars to perform. i think i wolud have preffered to play the established crew, a bit tired, somewhat complacent and ready for the taking.

Bruce Ross does keep harping on how good a fullback Kingston is going to be

Reid isn't injured..he was on the bench last week. Back in Oz because Colby is fit. I would have liked to see him come off the bench last week too. I would have thought he strength would have been useful on the bench this week against the Chiefs!

Reid is still very much a work in progress. When he starts sorting out his breakdown accuracy and stops giving away penalties for fun, then he'll start seriously pushing for a regular spot.

I like the look of this backline. Inman/Ellison have been doing well in the centres, I wouldn't want to see that pairing changed while there are still other options. If Woodward makes a hash of playing at 10 then Gus could come on for Sau or Kingston. I actually thought Gus wasn't all that bad last week.

Not sure what their thinking is with Big Max at the moment. I wonder if they think he needs a few games in the Dewar Shield, playing 60+ minutes, or if they rate Cruze as a better prospect?

I think Gus should wear 10. I'm not his biggest fan but unless Woodward has been running at 5/8 consistently at training I'm not sure he'll offer a whole lot more, especially given his effectiveness as a finisher.
